Back from a VERY long day. First I went to the new house with three more boxes of books, after stopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a thing to put silverware in. I unpacked the three boxes of books, then had some telephonic conversations, then took Beverly Glen over the hill - what a difference to Coldwater Canyon these days. No traffic at all. And it was only an extra five minutes on Sunset to the Shermans. Richard seemed in very good spirits today. We had a grand visit and he loved the Levi postcards. He can't wait to see the show. Then I began the horror show of trying to get across town. Sunset was all backed up so I took Doheny down to Santa Monica Blvd. That was all backed up so I got down to Melrose and THAT was all backed up but not quite as bad. I endured Melrose all the way to LACC - what should have been a fifteen minute drive was fifty minutes. Once there, I had a sandwich at Cafe 50s, then it was time for rehearsal.
