I have to go to Lowe's tomorrow to get the special Poison Ivy killer....since it is growing in abundance on the north side of my house.....and on my crab apple tree.....

Did the three-mile jog.  Have been toying with what would or will be the final song I need to write, and half of it came to me about halfway through the jog and then trying to remember all those lines for a mile-and-a-half was, well, amusing?  I did, though, and got them all written down.

I am too pooped to pop and I'll stop right there.  I shall now eat the remainder of my dinner, whilst zoning out on the couch like so much fish.

Poor Nick was patiently waiting for dinner.

Sweet boy.

I did change a lightbulb, so it wasn't a total waste of my time.  She had some leftover Costco cheese pizza, so it REALLY wasn't a waste of my time! ;D

Patricia Morison was a force of nature.  When she was 101 I saw her do I Hate Men and she was amazing.  Nothing sad about living to 103 - what a life!

Wow!

On a sad note, Patricia Morison, Original Kiss Me, Kate Star, Dies at 103. :(

It is a nice article and I enjoyed the video.

Would she have been better than Kathryn Grayson in the movie version of "Kiss Me, Kate"

I'm not a Kathryn Grayson fan, so I would think that a tabletop would have been better in Kiss Me, Kate.

I thought Morison was terrific in the video and decided to find one with Grayson singing the song.  What a shame Morison was not in the film.

I made a really good tomatillo avocado salsa this evening. Was wonderful by itself with chips or on top of the burgers we had before Bible study.

Is that like a creamy guacamole?

So, in the Washington Post obit for Ms. Morison, there's a story of how Yul Brenner tried to bed her. She went into his dressing room one night and he was sitting nude in a lotus position.

I guess we have to include him on the #MeToo list, even if they did end up friends.

If they ended up friends I am guessing she never felt threatened.

I'm watching the last episode of "Rise."  It's been cancelled, so what was originally the season finale actually became the series finale.

They're performing quite a bit of the actual music of Spring Awakening.

The TV series was based on a book called "Drama High: The Incredible True Story of a Brilliant Teacher, a Struggling Town, and the Magic of Theater."
