I would rather hear about your adventures in Greece.

Sorry for the rant, but it’s been building up in me for a long time.
I am grateful that I had a chance to experience New York years ago.
I will always miss it.
Others will replace me, and New York will always thrive.

The last Broadway show that I attended was “The Band’s Visit” in April, 2019, which was very good.
I will never set foot in a Broadway theatre again, and I saw 20 shows each year.
The audiences are straight out of American Idol, as are the performers. Constant shrieking, many in mid-song. Countless standing “ovations”, also in mid-song.

I don’t know what you could possibly mean!  Lea Michele only received seven standing ovations, mid-song on her opening night!

I have been watching a short series on Hulu, DAYS THAT SHAPED AMERICA.  Apparently, there were only five such days in our history.

Last night I watched the 9/11 episode.  It was really well done.  Near the end I started crying when I realized I will never go to Ground Zero.

When I lived in New Jersey, the first thing I saw every morning, when I looked out the window of my room, was the tops of the North and South towers of the World Trade Centers.

Well, tonight's rehearsal went quite well...all things considered.

We only ran, then worked scenes from, act two, but we also wore what costumes we had.

There was a woman from The Chronicle (the local Centralia paper) who interviewed Miss Marple, Miss Blacklock and me!

She then stayed for most of the rehearsal and took a lot of pictures.

I don't know when it'll be published, but if the online version isn't behind a paywall, I'll post a link.

I will confess that I actually can barely believe that I got through as much as I did tonight without calling for lines!

Granted, I have fewer lines in the second act than in the first, but still...

Wow...that sounds like it was a pretty cool view, Tom.

TCB, your comment on Lea Michele’s reception is exactly what I meant.
She is enormously talented, but the audience is so busy applauding itself for being in attendance that you can’t hear her singing!

I was very surprised when I heard her sing, “People” on Jimmy Fallon last week.  At age 36, she seems to have matured into the role.
