Today, I saw "Take Me Out." It was a pretty good production of a wonderful show. The lead actor's main problem was not his acting, but that he couldn't just stand still and talk. He kept moving and that got annoying, but otherwise the rest of the cast was quite good. The lead character's best friend, who is supposed to be played by a black man, was not played by a black man. I don't know if they had someone and he left or if they were able to find someone appropriate to play the part, at all. Anyway, the director (who is not black) played the role...and they didn't change any lines. I went in knowing that, and I don't think that it would worked (or been legal

) to have rewritten the lines to make the character not be a black man. Otherwise, the nudity was quite unobtrusive and if anyone went to the show just to see naked men, they would be somewhat disappointed.
