I tried to procrastinate once, but couldn't get around to it.

Just as well - habitual procrastination can cause blindness.

It was something pseudo-racy like don't get off 'til tomorrow what you can - oh, shucks, i almost reposted the riposte.

Hey, that's almost a song:  When they repost the riposte....

Thoughts and hugs to DR TomOvOZ.

Healing vibes to DR  JHVW.

Very warm here with more thunder and lightning and rain.

Time for to go to bed.  Tomorrow to read about the reading of TFNM.

Back from a bite to eat - and now having air-conditioning issues - that breaker keeps going out - luckily someone showed up to fix it prior to the reading and threw the breaker and changed the filter and we were fine.  But when I came home, the air was blowing hot and the breaker had broken again.  I put it right, and now it seems to be okay, but I'm really getting annoyed about it.

...and the breaker had broken again.  I put it right, and now it seems to be okay, but I'm really getting annoyed about it.

Engineering lesson:

Breakers trip based on the amount of current being used in the line.

Induction motors (like A/C units, refrigerators, laser printers, dishwashers, any electronics with a cooling fan, etc.) draw huge amounts of current when they start up - their start-up current surges are much more than their rated steady state demand. If you have two or more induction motors on the same line and they happen to cycle on at the same time, it is easy to pop a breaker. Cycling induction motors drive electricians nuts - most of their instruments do not read induction currents, only steady state.

I had a delightful evening of memories being resurrected with "Our Gang"!  All those wonderful shows...Spanky and gang as the Flory-Dory Sixtette...Club Spanky...the amateur radio contest..."Learn to Croon"..."I'm in the Mood For Love"..."The Love Bug Will Get You If You Don't Watch Out"...etc., etc.

Spanky and Alfalfa and Darla and Buckwheat and Porky and Petey and Mickey and some Stymie and a different Mickey, and on and on and on....
