Speaking of exquisite colors, I had occasion to listen to Ms. Helen Reddy singing "Leave Me Alone (Ruby Red Dress)" today, and I had remembered it as such a lively, jaunty song back in the day - but am now wondering if the thing that made Ruby Red Dress say "Leave Me Alone" was something decidedly serious by 2000's standards which was being taken lightly in the 1970's.
