As I said - if that's the biggest error, I'm perfectly fine with it.  There have been MUCH worse in much more high-profile books.  I'm not sure that it's worth it to submit the whole manuscript again and have to have down time until it's done.  For me, minor.  Stupid, but minor.

That said - you are a FAST reader!!! :)

And that was beautifully written, Jrand, and I know you well enough to know you would not have written it had you not thought it.  So, thanks!

As for the Topic of the Day...

I believe my first meal at a Rosa Mexicano was one of the best Mexican meals I've ever had.  However...

The most memorable were from a taco-truck and Mexican grocery store in Logan, UT(!!!).  Homemade tortillas, an amazing mole, perfectly seasoned carnitas, perfect balance of tortilla-meat-cheese-lettuce-tomato-etc.

When I asked why there was such a large Mexican population in Logan, UT - and consequently and subsequently such good, authentic Mexican food - the answer I received was, "They couldn't get past the mountains." ;)

OH!

And the taco truck up the street from me here in Hamilton Heights - or El Alto - has some surprisingly amazing good Mexican food.  And they're open until 2:00am during the week and 4:00am on the weekends. Dangerous! ;)

Tonight my Mom & I went to a Make  A Wish  fundraising dinner - Make  Wish is anorganization that grants "wishes" to children with life threatening illnesses.  Tonight an 11 year old  boy with Lymphoma was granted a wish to go to Hawaii with his family and a 15 year old girk who has been fighting leukemia for the past 5 years thanked everyonefor her family's  trip England  where she got to visit the Harry Potter set and meet some of the actors including Alan Rickman and where she was given her own official wand and a Griffendor robe that had been used inmaking one of the movies

There seems to be no rhyme or reason why most books got everywhere today, but two or three did not.  It seems completely random.

DR Druxy - I saw "The Brown Bunny".  It was such a strange experience. I was bored, angered and bewildered all at once.  I think the only reason I did not fall asleep was because I wanted to stay up just to see if it really stayed that boring for as long as it did.  Even the "climax" was boring.  -And Cheryl Tiegs?!?!?!?!

We own a time share in Kississemme - it s a nicecondo unit that sleeps 8 and is located a a large golf course and backs up to the Epcot property.  Vixdada and I thought that we would donate a week to the Make a Wish Foundation and that they could use it to give some kid and thier family a trip ...tehy were already planning this big dinner and asked if they could use it as the grand prize for a raffle to be held tonight  - they sold $10 tickets for the trip and ended up making enough money on the raffles to send 30  kids and their families on trips.

There were probably 1000 - 1200 people at this dinner.  It was so nice to see so many people willing to support such a lovely charity.

TOD: The first time I ever had Mexican food was in the early 80's - I went out to Newport Beach (my one and only visit to the west coast) where my cousin was then living - she took me to a restaurant on the water where I had my first margarita, first taste of guacamole and first chicken fajitas -

It was  lovely meal - I have no idea of the name of the restaurant
