It's shocking the hoops one has to jump through with SAG on these web series. Endless paperwork, contracts, forms - no one makes ANY money - the budget is 0. But one must do all this work and I think it's why more people don't use SAG talent on these - it's a big pain in the butt cheeks, plus they are VERY slow. I got them everything they asked for over a week ahead of our NY shoot. They didn't get back to me with further needs until one business day before the shoot. I sent an e-mail in response asking for clarification on one point. That e-mail went unanswered despite them knowing we were shooting. I sent two follow-up e-mails, both went unanswered. I called. Call not returned. I finally e-mailed the original gal to whom I'd sent that original batch of paperwork and told her I was getting fed up and that actors were waiting for their paperwork. After that e-mail, the guy called back in about ten seconds. He was more than a little uppity, I have to say. But I got the rest of the paperwork he wanted done and I'm still confused on two forms - so, I'll attempt to speak to him in the morning so he can walk me through those, and then I'm driving all this crap to their office and dropping it off. Thankfully, the contracts all got e-mailed to NY so people are signing those now.
