Jane I am sorry we gave you a headache I had no idea you were so  sensitive to visual cues - it never even occurred to me  it would be an issue

Elmore I am goad they came to fix your bathroom but  quite dismayed to learn they did not arrange to have a cleaner come as well  and that you were stuck with all the work

Just finished spending too much time writing a profile of one of the authors of "Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking." She has a two-ingredient biscuit recipe and all I want to do is make biscuits. With plenty of butter and some blueberry or blackberry jam.

Had a nice visit with Robert A. Harris, and saw some tests for something he may or may not be working on in the future.  I was there a couple of hours.

I picked up no packages or mail, never got to the bank, came home, did work on the computer, had some telephonic calls and was lazy.
