I don't know which way the wind will blow in terms of my throat - it will either go away by tomorrow, or it won't.  If it doesn't, that could be really problematic so please keep sending those excellent vibes and xylophones.

VIBES & XYLOS FOR A HEALTHY VOICE BOX & THROAT!

BK, USE THOSE ZINC LOZENGES & ZICAMS, ZINC REALLY HELPS!

DR DAN M I have never seen or heard of that LP....do you own it?  What is it? It looks like maybe it was a television show or something.

No, I was looking for things on Charles Nelson Reilly, knew he had been on the stage many, many times, and came across this LP that he had recorded with Robert Morse, I think in 1962 or 1963.  It looks intriguing as I like both of them, but wanted to find out if anyone had heard the record and what they thought of it.

I knew Charles Nelson Reilly from his many visits to the Drama Book Shop, and I always looked forward to seeing him. I liked him enormously; we talked opera, singers, shows, his students, and gossip, and when he was in Jupiter, Florida, he'd call to order things and we'd talk about the productions and his students. . . .

CNR was a great guest on Johnny Carson and made MATCH GAME throughout the 1970s the afternoon "after-hours" party that it always seemed like it was.

I used to have (but was one of the things that was stolen from me) the complete Sid & Marty Krofft series that starred CNR, "Lidsville" which  is really out there, and that's saying a lot 'cause their shows where already pretty out there to begin with.  For those who don't know, the series begins with Butch Patrick falling into a magician's hat which opens into a magical land called Lidsville, a society of walking and talking hats, mainly voiced by Joan Gerber and Walker Edmiston.  Charles Nelson Reilly is the baddie, playing Hoodoo the Magician who flies around in a flattened top hat.

It must be this one

I have the Walter the Farting Dog stuffed animal, which doesn't fart any more.  I guess either the battery's finito or he's pooped out.

I've been doing ColdEEZ every couple of hours and Airborne.  I think this would not have happened if I hadn't been out of Airborne all week - BUT, I'm hoping that it will help stop this.

DR TCB what do you mean no one saw your show?

Well, that wasn't actually correct.  We had five people show up.

Sat on the couch like so much fish, turned on some documentary that I wasn't interested in and had a nice thirty-minute snooze.  I REALLY need this yucky feeling to get the HELL out of here.

Thankfully, I have some NyQuil here, so I'll take a cup of that before bed and hopefully I'll get a great night's beauty sleep and feel better in the morning.

Tonight was a great show with a great audience.  I keep asking if we can record the show for educational purposes, but it doesn't sound like it is going to happen.

Actually, this recording wouldn't even have to be for educational purposes since the book is in public domain and the adaption was written by our director.

I hope that Matthew's opening night and George's opening night went well.

Congratulations on Chas' opening night.
