I am puzzled why Monday we were only a couple of posts shy of nine pages; and yet the last two day we have had to fight to get beyond five pages?

Perhaps because I was busy doing the things I just talked about and wasn't here to spark dazzling conversation....well, ok maybe not

I think you may be onto something. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I see you show up on a slow evening, because I know things are going to be picking up!

And now, I'm off to see the final preview/volunteer appreciation night performance of Harlequin Productions' fourth, count 'em, FOURTH production of their very own A Rock 'n' Roll Twelfth Night!  Free dinner and a free show...can't beat that!  I don't doubt that it'll be fabulous.  It's a great show.  I've seen every incarnation, so I can't miss this.

Be back later!

The show was great!  I really didn't notice any goobers except for one quick moment, but it wasn't that noticeable.  The singers were all good and the costumes were good and the music was great.  A good time was had by all!

There was indeed a tap on my door early this morning.

Beautiful picture, Laura!  A couple of years ago, a friend of mine actually took a tour down into the canyon.  He said it was amazing!

And speaking of LaChanze, I just finished listening to "Ahrens & Flaherty: Nice Fighting You: A 30th Anniversary Celebration" and LaChanze sings songs from both "Once On This Island" and "Ragtime."  She and the rest of the cast are just wonderful.  I really love this live recording!

I do, too. Liz Callaway is great. Love Bobby Steggart's songs. Rebecca Luker just steals the album.

I will definitely be listening to this again...and again...and again. :D
