Going to Fred Meyer for cat food was just like any other normal day...no crowds and no problems.  I was able to easily find a parking spot and get the cat food quickly.

I heard two women were trampled at a local Walmart today by men pushing their way through to get $200 TV sets.

and I heard there was a woman who pepper sprayed the crowd to get a video game  console and a  shooting in Austin

also in the Nordstroms in Chicago there was a shooting

WTF??

apparently the Nordstrom's shooting wasn't related to Black Friday sales  it was a man who shot his girlfriend (a Nordstroms' seasonal employee) and then shot himself  he's dead and she's critical

Just found out that Downton Abbey season five is available on Blu and Ray in the UK - it is winging its way to me now.

You need a multi-region Blu-ray player...and I highly recommend getting.  I got one on eBay last year for only about $200 and it can play Blu-ray AND DVDs from around the world.  It's also an up-scaling player, so everything looks better on my widescreen TV.

hmmm we are looking at buying a hdtv widescreen for a family  christmas present this year and lookingat getting a blue ray   I wonder if Vixdad would want to consider an all region player
