I hear ya.  I actually went in to Kaiser Permanente today and had a blood draw for my A1c.  It's been a little more than a year since my last test and I haven't been that diligent recently about eating fewer carbs. ::)

I apologize Chas.  This has been a bad week.  In addition to dealing with Nicky; I guess I have been having a reaction to my flu shut.  Either that, or I just have the damn flu.

My only holiday party (other than with family) is tomorrow at work.  I wrapped my gift exchange gift, I have my morning break goodie snack (chocolates) ready, and have my meatballs in my freezer, ready to take with me to be cooked in my crock pot. ;D
