I guess there are a LOT of American-trained Mexican dentists who do good work.

Oh, if you decide on Joe Allen’s, let me know.  It would almost worth it to fly in just for the meal.  I have always dreamed of sitting at a large table there, with a stunning group like us, while a group of tourists huddle around the bar trying to figure who the celebs are that are dining with BK!

It is quite a lucrative business on both sides of the border.  The Mexican dentists, of course, make money; but there are a lot of motels on the U.S. side that work with the Mexican dentists to make it a vey smooth operation.

My mom stayed with her friends who live pretty close to the border, so the hotels didn't get any business from my mom. ;)

No, but the motels provide a shuttle to and from the border.  Much easier than having to drive your car thru customs.
