My cocktail of choice is cranberry juice mixed with Diet 7-Up.  I will, also, drink it with Sierra Mist, but please, spare me the Sprite.

Other than that, it is usually coffee, until noon, and then, water after that.

At first, I thought the notes said "The Randy Vicar and Little Ricky"

One of my favorite exotic concoctions was an "Orange Julius"-- which I can't seem to find anymore. :-[

Other that I go the real hard stuff like chocolate sodas, egg creams, and Diet Coke.

Well, I can't believe it - we're having another torrential downpour.  Nobody, but nobody, is going to tell me that this season has broken every single record in the history of California, rain-wise.   The power went out for a couple of minutes about a half-hour ago.  Naturally, every electric clock in the joint had to be reset, the TV freaked out, Direct TV freaked out, I had to do a complete reboot of the Adelphia cable modem - I mean, really.  A city that has no backup generators, how can that be?

Heard another three tracks today - very lovely and fun.  I'm gettin' all excited about this here album we're doing.

Even better, put ice in a blender, add orange juice, vanilla ice cream and a touch of vanilla.  Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy.   :D

Charles even a little champagne makes me sick.  I keep saying just a few sips won’t hurt but it does.

I also sleep with a pillow under my mattress.  I have a severe case of acid reflux and have to take medication so I can eat.  Now I would never take medication in order to indulge in chocolate (certain chocolates, not all) or ice cream, but it is one of the bonus benefits I get from the meds.  Unfortunately I would prefer to go without milk than drink soy milk.  I’m able now to use a little in my cereal.

I'm really enjoying this show, also!  I was wondering if any of the episodes are based on actual incidents (cases or psychic experiences) of the real Allison Dubois.

Good question.  Check this out.

Honey, I'm HOME!

And I'm about to fall on my face because I'm sooooo tired.  I had wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time!  Forgive me but I just got in about a half hour ago and my legs are killing me ( I think that might have something to do with ice skating but I'm not sure--   ;) ).    I need a hot bath and two Tylenol or two Tylenol and a hot bath.  Or two hot baths and a Tylenol.  I think you get the picture...    :) :D ;D

Anyway, Toto, We're home!  I shall talk with/read/post with you lovely people tomorrow!

At least all the leaks are plugged up.  Except that the water does tend to get under the door in the den that leads to the patio.  Just the left side, but boy does it get in (towels are there now).  When the boys come tomorrow to put the rug back and my dresser back, I'm going to have them fix it however they must.

Well, we just had an electrical blackout over here on my side of the hill.  I was in the middle of watching a nice show featuring Bobby Short remininscing about his life on American Life Network (the erstwhile Good Life Network) when the electricity went out.  When everything came back on the cable did not.

Charles, how frustrating.  At least the power didn't stay off long.  Sometimes shows like that air more than once.  Maybe you can still catch it.

DRMBarnum, put down the drink, put down the cigarette, and  go watch ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE!

Danise, it was great fun to meet and talk to you. Welcome home! Rest well. I sure did the past 2 days... just errands, laundry, grocery shopping, pay some bills, take a nice walk on this glorious spring day, and make soup for a sick friend who lives just around the corner. When I took the soup to her, she didn't answer my knock - so I got all Jewish, and called the doorman, who called the building manager, who came up tot he 8th floor with his GIANT key ring... just as my friend opened the door. She had been sleeping, because she didn't feel well. Wow, she was amazed at the commotion around her door, but she took the little pot of soup, thanked me, and just shook her head back and forth.

Goyim... they just don't GET it, do they??? Maybe she had taken a hot bath and fainted, maybe fallen down and knocked her head on the corner of the coffee table, maybe tripped over the cat and knocked herself unconscious... Of course I would call the doorman and the building manager... oh, how did I become my grandmother???

Oh, Penny I missed you while I washed the dishes.

Sunday when I was delivering Meals on Wheels I could hear the TV blaring at this house but the woman I didn’t answer.  I rang & rang, knocked & knocked.  I was just as worried as you were about your friend.  Finally I tried the door and to my great relief it wasn’t locked.  I nervously crept in  :-\ and found her sitting in a chair sound asleep.  I had to wake her up.  The next day she was waiting at the door for me. ;D
