Oh, Jane, I was hoping that was NOT the reason you'd been so quiet.  My thoughts are with you and your family.

Aww, Jane.  I'm so sorry to hear about Bogie. You were all very fortunate to have had each other for so long. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Keith.

I just lost a post filled with such warmth and dreadful puns. You are lucky.

The important content was about the help that HHW must have given my surgeon last week. I slept through the show despite the price of the ticket. Last time I went to a theatre where Women in White were performing, I walked out. My surgeon is way better than Sir ALW at keeping me in my place and comfortable.

DR Tom--after I lost a couple of very long posts, I learned to type them in Word first then copy/paste from there, then go back and add smiles, etc.

Bed time all. Good night.  My thoughts are with you, DR Jane.

Measure for Measure is probably my favorite Shakespeare play, probably because it is so off-the-wall. Great dialogue battles. And the character of Lucio is one of Shake's funniest.

DR Jane, I am happy to see you back on the board, and you already know my thoughts are going out to you and Keith, but I will say it again.

You are such a dear, sweet person and I am just so sorry that you have lost two that were so special and dear to you.

No one else wears a turkey bagel sandwich quite like my mom. Though she looks kinda silly trying to eat her sage green t-shirt and gulping down that sunscreen.  :P

I'm glad we're doing a clothing check today because I am wearing my favorite outfit. My red and blue Quidditch shirt, my plaid pajama bottoms that don't fit, and my black and purple striped fencing knee socks. Nothing matches. I look fantastic. And my leopard-spotted flamingo watch adds a nice touch.

I was eating some mac and cheese, but I seem to have lost track of it.
With an outfit like that, how do you know you didn't spill any of it?

Sandra, Danise, Ginny. DRLaura, TCB, Charles Pogue, Rodzinski, MBarnum and SWW.  Thank you for the condolences and good wishes.

I have been keeping very busy and am okay most of the time, and then something little tears me up-or something big like reading these sweet messages.

It is a very odd sensation not having at least one cat, first time in 38 years.

If the high today was 94 degrees how can it still be 93 degrees at 7:00?  Keith is out mowing the lawn after planting all day.  I don’t know how he does it.  With luck the noise of the riding mower will chase the turkeys away.  As fascinating as the turkeys are they have ceased to be fun thanks to the BIG mess they make.

I haven’t had the heart lately to talk.  Tuesday we said goodbye to our sweet Bogie.  Too many losses in too short of a time and the last two were just such very special pets.

Ohhh, Jane...I am so sorry.

Bogie had a wonderful mom and dad and a great life, you know.  You've racked up bunches of points for "humanity" with the scorekeepers in the sky.

My heart aches for you.

Happy Birthday DR Arnold Brockman.

Watched Alias finale.  The body of the show was all right, although, with the fate of the world hanging by minutes, did we really need Sydney and Vaughn to stop and have a "moment".  It's times like that that you want to hurl something through the TV screen.  The final moment (not the line from Vaughn, but what followed), was fun.

I picked up a whole slew of soon-to-be-released DVDs, including three Fox noirs - House of Bamboo, Street with no Name, and Nightmare Alley.  I think it will be Bamboo this evening.  Also got Les Choristes, Face in the Crowd, Heller in Pink Tights and The Far Horizons.

Except that she does have some (albeit limited) Broadway credit.

She's got some movie credits, too, but that doesn't make her qualified to ask intelligent questions about movies or the theater.

DR Tomovoz, were you aware that this coming season of CARNIVALE! that you're anticipating will be the last one? HBO canceled the series after its second season.

BK, I tried to watch HOUSE OF BAMBOO when it was on TV not long ago...I absolutely love Shirley Yamaguchi and had looked forward to seeing this movie for many years...unfortunately after about 10 minutes I had to turn it off...it was just to strange. I will be very curious to know what you think of it (and maybe I will find I should have stuck with it).

And HELLER IN PINK TIGHTS co-stars the late Cal Bolder! Keep a look out for him!

DR Jane, so sorry to read about your beloved pet. I know how hard it must be. When I lost my last dog, a pug named Shadow, I just couldn't bear to go through the loss again. I've had no other pets.

I have, coming in the mail, some Japanese ghost movies and a 1960s Turkish superhero movie...I am hoping that they arrive tomorrow (not that I don't already have plenty of viewing material already).

Although as nice as the weather has been I don't know that I will be indoors enough this weekend to watch very much.

I plan to OVERDOSE on movies and TV over the weekend though I did tell the actor playing my son in LA CAGE that I would rehearse with him on Saturday afternoon. He's only been with us two weeks and wants to run our scenes sans script before we start tech week.
