And you'll probably look like that in your 90s, too!

Jose, it doesn't seem to drag - I tried that before posting here.  Let me send it to you right now and see if you can save it to a word doc - then send it back to me that way.

elmore, PORKY'S is a guilty pleasure of mine too.  I saw it the first time in Leicester Square in London one Friday night with a bunch of British teenagers.  It was quite an experience.

Wow!  Quite a bit of "drama" over at the FilmScoreMonthly Messageboard over the weekend!  However can I live with myself for having missed it before all the brouhaha died down?

What topic?? ::)

Oh... And it's "I Can't Stand Still".

Which is sometimes... "I Can't Sing on Pitch".... "I Can't Sing in Rhythm"...  I can't stand hearing this song!

;D

Yes DRJOSE that is the song.  After it was sung the second time (with no drums of course) - a young girl stood up and sang "I Don't Know How to Love Him" - as she sat down I announced it was from JESUS CHRIST - FOOTLOOSE.

The 80s were pretty dire compared to the decades before, I agree. And the cheesy synth scores do not wear well. Still, plenty of goodies to be had.
Of ones mentioned, I love PRINCESS BRIDE, PEGGY SUE, CHRISTMAS STORY.

What else? VAMPIRE'S KISS, SHOCK TREATMENT, BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA, and I wouldn't be Rodzinski if I didn't mention THE CREATURE WASN'T NICE, which squeaked into the decade.

The Gal, fresh off the plane from San Jose, brought me an In-N-Out Burger all the way from California. I ate it for lunch. No fries though. Those don't travel well.

Got tix for an Off-Broadway show tonight with some out o' town friends. It's ALTAR BOYZ, a spoof about a Christian boy band. We'll see how that goes...

Be sure to give Ryan a big hug and kiss for me!

...Or not.

;)

-However, I do like the names of the guys in the group: Matthew, Mark, Luke and Juan.   -They had to get the "ethnic" in there - who happens to be Ryan.

And my favorite song title has to be, "Girl, You Make Me Wanna Wait."

:)
