One thing I noticed about the new car is that the gas tank is larger on this automobile. It cost about $10 more to fill this one up (paid for by the car company, of course) than it did to fill up my old Dodge Neon.

It doesn't use batteries.

The one thing I did not find in my storage space were my CDs of Damn Yankees...  But after thinking about it for a while, I actually don't think I've ever purchased it/them.  I think it's just one of those titles that I've always put back on the shelf "to buy later".

Of course, once I buy a copy, I'll undoubtedly find mine.

I am happy to announce that kritzerland.com is now up and running.  Go check it out, tell us what you think, nose around the site, and above all, ORDER CDs.

You'll find audio clips from both albums, a video from the After the Ball recording session, photos from After the Ball, photos from the Guy Haines session, in our Interview section you'll find Ten Questions with Tony Walton, and there's more.

Just had a call from my local DVD store, and they just got in all the July 12th Paramount releases - some great stuff, too - It Happened in Naples, Elephant Walk, The Rainmaker, and a few others I can't remember because my head is about to explode.  I'll go pick them up now and then tell you all the titles.

In the meantime, Kritzerland awaits.

Right now, the plan is to have dinner here with Steve, and then head back up to Fairfax.  However, I may stay one more night.  We'll see.

The big factor is the closing of 95 at the Springfield Mixing Bowl.  They're closing the road northbound this weekend at night in order to move some "big beams" and do some other work.  The detour is actually not that bad, but the traffic back-up potential... Ugh.  Luckily, the news radio station that has the traffic reports "on the 8s" can be picked up down here, so I can give a lesson later and go - or not go from there.

Oh, I ended up having lunch with my friend, Peter.  I happened to give him a call just as he was about to leave his office, so we ended up meeting at a pizza place.  A pizza buffet place.

I didn't over-indulge, but I did indulge.  Ah, well...

And after getting on one of those big mechanical scales at the bank this morning - a lot of banks in Richmond have them in their lobby (???) - I really do need to stop indulging so much right now.  However, I can tell my body is starting to rebel a bit.  I'm filling up faster, and anything fatty gives me a headache.  So... Time get to back on the svelte train.

And after that very sobering experience, I had another one when I stepped into my storage unit.  I really dropped the ball in regards to going through my "boxes o' stuff".  There are just too many boxes in there that I should go through, and a lot of stuff to be either thrown out, donated, given away or put on E-bay.

I just know the longer I keep that 'stuff', the longer I'll be "attached" to Richmond.  So...

I have two more weeks until I head up to NYC, so...

The site looks good, Bruce. I'll look around more later tonight (and order those 2 CDs). I really like the cover for the Guy Haines CD.

Pretty cool!  I'm going to have to wait until next week to order (when I get paid), but I certainly intend to!  Congratulations, BK!!

My only...comment (certainly not a criticism :)), but in the interview with Tony Walton, when you click on the "next" or "previous" buttons, it doesn't kick you to the top of the page.  You have to scroll back up to the top to continue with the interview.  It's a very minor inconvenience, but like I said, it's not a criticism.

I am with DR Ben on the Guy Haines album cover...I really like it!

I don't know if it is meant to be, but it has a very retro 60s look to it, at least to my eyes.

And quite a nice bunch of songs on the album!

Congratulations BK. It's early morning here and cold.  I shall thaw out my credit card and order in an hour or two.

I know what  you mean, DR Matt.  I had the same kind of shock when I bought Bonnie.  Ahh, well, what can you expect?

No contact e-mail has arrived, so we'll double check that.  Danise's order (for Jeeper's Creepers) went through fine, and, of course, that CD I can ship right away.

The site looks great!

Not to be picky, but the "A" and the "E" should be Blue; the "N" and the "U" Yellow...

OH!!!

:D

When I clicked on the Sound Clip for "On Your Toes", I ended up clicking it twice.  And it ended up playing twice.  Exactly one measure apart!

It took me a few seconds to realized what was happening, but for a few seconds there I was thinking, "Ooh, that's a cool arrangement with that echo!"

Will your books be sold on the site as well?
