Had a good time re-watching THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT III. However, some of the musical numbers which they tried to repurpose for surround sound were kind of weird sounding. I don't remember the DVD sounding like this when I played it the last time, but I did use a different DVD player. I may try some of the numbers it in tomorrow to see if they still sound a little weird.

DR elmore - I should be back by 4:00 tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon.

...And then I'm playing auditions Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

...Ah, the smell of desperate actors in the morning at the Equity building..

I laughed at the Phoebe song from FRIENDS, too, so thanks, DR Ron, for the memory (a Bob Hope reference).

TOmorrow I've got the DVR set to record THE VERDICT. No, not the Paul Newman courtroom drama (which is a marvelous Sidney Lumet film) but an earlier Warner Bros. whodunit starring Sydney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre, made in the 1940s. I saw it several years ago and really loved it. They always made an entertaining duo on-screen. I hope it holds up to my memory of it.

And I am bound and determined to catch RENO 911! tomorrow, too, instead of scrambling around later in the week trying to find a rerun. The DVR is all set to get it tomorrow night.

We had a huge thunderstorm roll through here around 5:15. It only lasted about 10 minutes, but it rained so hard for that brief time that you couldn't see the other side of the street. After it stopped, I stepped outside, and talk about a sauna! The rain didn't cool anything off. The outside was actually steaming! Argh!

Well, I guess that's it for me tonight. I'm heading off to the bedroom area. Good night, all.

DRs Jane, Cillaliz, JMK, and the rest (a Gilligan's Island reference) (just kidding of course!), I wish I could make it for the get together  :-\
But my sister would throttle me if I did not go camping with them.

...The view into my room from the living room...

-The big door in the middle actually leads right outside, basically giving me my own entrance - and exit - to my room.  Yes, it's very sparse right now.  I have a few things there.  Nick, the guy I'm subletting from, has a few things there.  I'm hoping to prettify things up once I get some time over the weekend.

Thanks.

Well, doesn't exercise/walking help control blood sugar levels?

RE: Krispy Kremes - I believe there are only two Krispy Kreme stand alone stores in the DC area now - at least that I know of.  One out on Rt. 1 in Alexandria, and small one right at the top of the south entrance to the Dupont Circle Metro Station - you can smell them coming up the escalators!

The location on Rt. 1 used to be one of the few "original" locations/buildings.  About two years ago, they tore down the old place, and built one of the new ones - with the "watch them make the donuts" viewing window.  I like it, but I do miss the old place.  The old place used to make all types of Krispy Kremes, not just the "corporate" varieties.  I still miss the Blueberry-Filled ones!

...And that Chocolate Creme-Filled one was indeed pretty tasty!

Has anyone confidently solved the Trivia Quiz?  I am left with one question that, bearing that the two revues I selected are the correct ones, cannot possibly be answered.  I'm going to throw a wild guess into that one.
