Another movie that should be out on DVD, Tommy Smothers in Brian DePalma's GET TO KNOW YOUR RABBIT. This is just a really good movie, stolen by the collective comic genius of Orson Welles, John Astin, and Alan Garfield. And the sublime Katharine Ross.
Tommy "drops out" of the corporate world to become a tap-dancing magician.

Are you and Micheal Barnum related???

Still, I think Prairie dogs belong to the Prairie, not homes anywhere in the world!

Don't get me wrong, I agree 100%.  Some animals are pets, some ain't.

By golly, I do believe I just saw a young BK on my television screen, being treated by the doctors of the 4077th.

I must settle Bk's hash on a point in his notes. What is this shit that my characters aren't as lovable as Cronenberg's?...They're much more lovable!  In fact, there very similar to his characters.  The Scientist.  The Scientist's girlfriend (In mine version, it was his wife...cause a wife would stick with a guy that would happen to), and his magazine publisher sorts of folds my other two characters into one character as the antagonist.

Have I settled your hash?

I have become increasingly depressed watching hurricane coverage.  I don't want to get too political, but it is hard for me not to notice that there is a particular population that is being severely affected by the disaster.

It just makes me sad that there were many who didn't have the resources to evacuate, whether it be because they didn't have transportation or they had no insurance and were not it a position to leave their homes and belongings behind.

Sorry for the depressing topic, I guess it's time to turn off the news...

Thank you one and all for your compliments about my new / old avatar.  I must confess that I was moved to action by DR Jane's belated admission that her avatar is NOT a current photo.

;D ;D  I'm sure I had you fooled all this time.

I did used to be cute, didn't I?

As for my national television debutt, we were informed today that MTV's HIGH SCHOOL STORIES will not start their new season until November, but that "Warrior Pride" is one of the first episodes that will be shown.  Please check your local listings.

Yes you were cute, still are.

You must let us know the date to watch.

Breaking news: when wandering around the west village today, I saw the future site of a new Beard Papa store.  It is on the corner of Carmine and 6th Avenue- unfortunately I didn't get to see when it was opening.

We could have cream puffs twice on the walking tour!  We would of course want to compare the products of the two different locations.

I love the ducks and the Alice in Wonderland statue. Danise will have a great time at the Central Park Zoo. She can also see the great clock that has animals marching around every half hour. It's on the way to the refurbished Children's Zoo, which also has lots of fund statuary.
