I guess since I was disappointed in THRESHOLD last Friday night, I'll give INVASION a try tonight. It's gotten good reviews, so I can DVR it and watch tomorrow. Got to see the season premiere of LAW & ORDER live.

Who cares? Who cares? Who cares? Who cares? Because you see I'm dancing and I can't be bothered now. (I can't be bothered now!)

CRAZY FOR YOU was a fun black musical. Oh, wait...

DRs Jose, Rodzinski, TPunk, Ben and any other NYCers: Anyone interested in seeing "All About Eve" tomorrow night at Chelsea Clearview Cinemas? It's at 7:00 and only costs $6. A room full of catty queens, sparkling door prizes and Bette Davis...who could ask for anything more? (Oh! Another CRAZY FOR YOU reference. God, I loved that show - it's just so Afro-tastic!)

I suppose ALL ABOUT EVE could be retitled as HOW MARGO GOT HER GROOVE BACK.

And, of course, tonight is the season premiere of LOST which should garner huge ratings as folks come back to see what happened to the folks on the raft and what in blue blazes is down that hatch they discovered and blew open at the end of last season.

How Margo Got Her Grove Back?  I'm not touching that with a ten-foot pole or a five-foot czech.

CBS is using tonight to rerun the two-hour last season finale of CSI leading up to its premiere tomorrow night. It was an outstanding episode for those interesting in checking out the show. This is the one which was directed by Quinton Tarantino.

I've only seen portions of "All About Eve," so I'd like to see it, but I hate going to Chelsea Cinemas by myself - for many reasons. As Ms. Sophia said, a girl child ain't safe in a house full uh mens.

Why, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

And I'm sure some of you reality show fans will be tuning in to Martha Stewart's version of THE APPRENTICE.

I don't watch reality shows any more (except AMERICAN IDOL which doesn't reappear until January), but I feel sure we'll get some reports from the DRs here who do watch them.

Movies are always wonderful on the big screen, but this is one that doesn't suffer much from watching on TV, and since the DVD is readily available, I'd go for a rental.

Well...  When I try to access HHW via my bookmark of the Home page, the connection times out.  But when I click on a link in my recent History, it connects just fine.

Hmm...

I'm guessing the DVR here - and at your place, DR MattH - may be getting quite the workout on Wednesday nights.

Myself, I'm excited about the third to last episode of "So You Think You Can Dance?"

It's fascinating - I don't know WHAT it is - this morning it was clearly a host problem.  Now AOL seems to be totally lame (took me eons to connect to other sites).  But, then Safari seems slow so it could be Adelphia.  One thing is for certain - something is always going on Internet-wise.

But whichever way you see it, ALL ABOUT EVE is a necessity! It's one of the greats of cinema.

Good morning!

A bit cooler this morning, but dear lord, we're going to have near 90 today and 95 tomorrow for highs!

Rescue me!!!

Well, as fashionable as it may be, you don't always have to go out in that double-breasted, black wool suit, and that Burberry topcoat.

Mine is getting a workout EVERY weeknight. There isn't a single night Monday-Friday that there isn't at least one hour on the schedule where there are two shows I want to see at the same time, and at a couple of places, there are THREE shows I'm wanting to see (like last night at 9 p.m.)

Thank goodness I'm retired and have time to watch all this stuff!

Well... It's only in the mid-70s right now here in NYC, and is only forecasted to get up into the low to mid-80s this afternoon.  A nice late summer day.
