DR Jose, don't you travel with an alarm clock or have an alarm in your watch? Or, depending on where you're staying, couldn't you leave word for a wake-up call?

Well, since CRIMINAL MINDS has gotten endorsements from a couple of DRs, maybe I'll give it another try tonight. Certainly am NOT going to watch JOEY reruns.

Well it's almost 6:00pm somewhere, does that count?

LOL, don't I wish!

OH....

And remember, postal rates go up January 8.  Be sure to use up your 37-cent stamps now, or stock up on the 2-cent ones.

Yes.  And, Yes.  And there have been times in the past where I've asked the stage manager to give me call just to check in.  However...  Right now, it's more a matter of the "detrimental" effect that a nap would have right now.  Yes, I'd wake up, but I don't think I'd ever truly be awake.

But that's what Emergen-C and green tea are for.

Yes, I usually don't feel better after a short nap; I feel almost drugged. But was just curious., Thanks, DR Jose.

My afternoon sleepiness today is due to the fact that I stayed up 'til 12:30am watching my Michigan Wolverines lose their "loser bowl."  Having to get up at 6am today came as quite a shock, but the Michigan loss did not  ::)

I love taking afternoon naps...but unfortunately they tend to last about an hour or more sometimes and then the day is completely shot.

But I always feel very rested!

I love afternoon naps too. The good ones are when I wake up and it's light out and I have no idea what day it is or whether it's morning or afternoon.

Welcome home DR Ron.

DR Jane, Shemar Moore is the totally hunky one!  Not Mandy Patinkin. And not the nerdy kid.  I believe he is half black. And I think in this show he has fuzzy hair and a bit of a goatee.  I'm pretty sure he has a website (probably shemarmoore.com).  He was in the WB show last year with the batman story.  And he's been on The Young & The Restless for years.

So the acclimation to Kentucky gets lovelier all the time.  My oldest friend from High School who is a lawyer in Louisville was in a nearby town taking a deposition and dropped in on us after it was over.  It was great to see.  His name is Gerry Toner and he has also written three wonderful books of modern-day Christmas stories of Capra-ish colour.  A book of short stories called Lipstick Like Lindsay's; a novellette called Whittlesworth Comes to Christmas, and Holly Day's Cafe, another novellette with a couple of short stories.  You can find them online at Amazon.

Today we spent money, buying two widescreen HD TVs...one 42-incher for the media room; and a 26 incher for the library.  I also spent 1300 dollars on my Caravan, getting it fixed properly...Alas, my colourful mechanic from my tale of a few weeks ago...really only hit the tip of the iceberg as far as its problems went...I finally have heat in the car again.  Hopefully, I can get another year or two out of it.

New Years will be spent with probably are two closest couple friends (that means four people...two couples), which should be very pleasant.

Back from luncheon at Louise's and a meeting at the theater as regards tomorrow evening's video shoot.

I am going to get very persnickety and I am going to haul out the bitch-slapping machine.

Where in tarnation IS vixmom?  Where are the others?  Where have all the flowers gone?

And it's no BS about Footlight either - they have reordered Starfighter five times since their initial order, and Ron tells me that it just flies out the door.

Well if they had a door to fly out of ;D

And now, I'm leaving work.  I have to pay my bills tonight since I get paid tomorrow.  And because I'm house-sitting, I have to get it all done at my house, because the house where I'm house-sitting doesn't have a computer.  So, I'm off now, but I'll be back a little later. :)

Listening to DR Ben on Whales Radio...
Is Beverly Humphries any relation to Barrie Humphries (aka Dame Edna)?

I would think not Michael. Barry was born in Camberwell - an upmarket suburb of Melbourne here in OZ.

I have been signed on but not at the computer.  I was planning to do some of the projects I want to do this week, but after speaking with a friend have decided to do nothing productive. I may just do sudoku and watch movies as it gets icy and cold outside.
