Oohh... Page Six Dance!

Hmmmm....

Is there an Official Girl Scout Cookie Dance?

-I know there is a "dance" one does when one gets those boxes of cookies in hand.  And then another one when one takes a bit of said cookies.

*My favorite is the one I do when I take a bite of a Thin Mint Cookie that has been stored in the freezer.  :)

Do they really HAVE to have the calorie count for each cookie next to the cookie description?  :)

Does it make a difference whether one orders early or do all orders get sent out at the same time anyway?

I think someone on here described my feelings about ordering things, that I place my order and then immediately go to the door waiting for what I ordered to arrive.  :)  :)

Since the "pre-orders" already went in,  I think anything I order now I will have with a week or so... then you are depending on me getting to the post office but since I notice that my local p.o. just put in an automated  express shipping center accessible during "off" hours I should be able to get them out rather quickly.

You think that's good, try a ice cream sandwich cookie made with french vanilla ice cream between two frozen mint cookies... ah decadence!!

DR Doctor WFO - If by default Jose and I have to do "The Grass is Always Greener," which one of us do you see as Stritch and which one of us do you see as Cook?   Just wondering.  :)

Well, given the reports of DR Jose's recent positive skinniness--I guess he will have to do his Stritch schtick.  (Say that five times rapidly.)

I note that Doctor WFO is just a letter away from Doctor WHO.

And all and sun-dried should be aware that in the new Dr. Who which plays this month on the SciFi channel in the U of S of A, John Barrowman has a recurring rôle.

Who IS this stranger?!!!

My name is Bill, and I am a Wussburger.

However,

1. We admitted we were powerless over Wussburgerness; that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to posting.

etc.

But now, with the sleet, but not much snow yet, I must hie myself home before the traffic gets really horrible, all my classes being over.

Laters.

And I mean that... most sincerely.  (Oh, a Bridge Over the River Wye reference!) ;D

Vixmom - In terms of making shipping easy, is there any ideal number of boxes of cookies in an order?  10?  15?

Any favorite Bollywood duets?

OH sure...but I was under the impression that the TOD was "stage" rather then movies.

Now, when we do movies I will certainly have many.

WOW!! That's the kind of buting attitude that makes a Girl Scout sit up and take notice!!

Well there are twelve in a case if you want that many of one type!! LOL!

Last year most people just  ordered a couple of boxes and I put them in an express mail box from the post office.

Any and all purchases are most appreciated  :-*

Casting has been announced for 70 Girls 70 at Encores. Sounds good to me!

70 Girls

That Cook, by the way, is Carole Cook from the original company of 42nd Street, not Barbara Cook who is near and dear to many hearts at HHW

Quote
This year's official Oscar gift basket is valued at a whopping $100,000-plus and is filled with so many fabulous freebies that it would likely give goodie-grubbing Star Jones an aneurysm. USA Today and the Chicago Sun-Times break down the deluxe details ...

The bag's biggest big-ticket item is a four-day stay at the swanky Halekulani Hotel on Waikiki Beach. The $25,000 vacation package features accommodations in the 2,135-square-foot Vera Wang suite, a round-the-clock butler, spa treatments and dinner at the resort's five-star restaurant.

The pampering continues with a bevy of beautifying offerings from the Cornelia Day Resort in New York ($2,500), a Frette cashmere and leather-trimmed travel blankie ($1,495) and a vintage silk kimono from Kay Unger ($500).

But wait, there's more -- much, much more. Other luxury loot includes a pearl and diamond necklace ($1,300) and hotel stays at The Carlyle in New York ($2,300), the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, Calif. ($5,700) and the Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley, Calif. ($2,500).

And for those celebrities looking for the perfect item to regift to their hard-working assistants, household staff or second-tier relations, there are a few lower-end items, including a Krups espresso machine package ($600), a Vonage broadband phone system ($550) and a year's supply of olive oil ($550).

I was wondering when they were going to break the news.  However, I do wish some of the "dream cast" people they had asked early on had said, "Yes."  I would have loved to see Carol Burnett and Elaine Stritch on the same stage!
