SPOILERS FOR PWOJECT WUNWAY INCLUDED

Wunway was disappointing for me as well, DR RP.  I hated that we lost the person we did, especially since I feel exactly the same way about the "winning" outfit that you do.  It looked awful....and why did he let a woman of that age go without SLEEVES!!!!!

My vote to send home would have been Jeffrey OR Vincent!

Actually, my choice would have been Angela.

I am anxious to start watching Project Runway again.  I really liked the 2 shows that were shown on NBC. But unfortunately i do not get US bravo. And Cdn Bravo does not show it. However it will start in a couple of weeks on Life network (which i also do not get, but my sister does and will tape it).

Hopefully i won't find out who wins.

I am also anxious to see Big Brother tonight. I'm hoping that James goes, since he is really bugging me.  It will be very interesting to see who wins HOH. I"m hoping Will. Cause i want to see what he would do.  Of course i'd always love janelle to win.

I'm actually also curious what chicken george would do. I'm not sure if his alliance with janelle is for real. He seems close to her, erika and danielle at various times.

I definitely don't want erika to win. Although i'd be curious to see who she would put up with janelle.  I also wonder if danielle (or janelle for that matter) would honor their one week truce. I'm guessing neither would. But i'm actually wondering if danielle would be more likely to keep her word (since she is trying to be more honest).

Anyhow hopefully it won't be another lame trivia comp.

Wasn't there an old tongue twister:  How many seers could a seersucker suck if a seersucker could...etc?

Actually, my choice would have been Angela.

You are right!  I haven't liked ANYTHING she has done....even her outfit that won the challenge a couple of weeks ago....

That fringe thing was awful....yup even worse than Vincent's.  8)

How 'bout another vest, in a complementary color and contrasting fabric?

Exactly.....

I bought a light brown vest that will go with the darker brown suit I brought to him....yes, DR PENNYO....that is my thought.

Why are the WORST actors the MOST picky about their costumes?  Of course....I usually talk to the costumer and then go out and find my own....it's safer that way.   ;D

DR George, my friend Jeff got his mini-frig at Target, too, but he said he has seen similar models at Home Depot if that's any help.

Ooo!  Thanks!  I hadn't thought of there.  And there's one very close to where I live. :D

What's a "mini-frig"?

Is that...like...what we used to call "a quickie?"

Umm...not exactly. ::)

;D (It should be spelled "fridge.")

Ah yes, Michael ... I would add to my list --

Operation Petticoat
Mr. Roberts
Cabaret
South Pacific

Since CABARET takes place circa 1929-31, I'd hardly count it as a World War II movie, but I would MR ROBERTS and SOUTH PACIFIC to my list.

I see that SUPERMAN seasons 5 and 6 will be released Nov. 14. I may pick this one up as I think my friends Diana Darrin and Laurie Mitchell appear in an episode each during those seasons.

I finished THIS ISLAND EARTH. It did hold my attention more in the second half. Alas, the transfer had some problems in the second half. Still, it looks good so many years later. I understand the last DVD issue of it (also full screen) was abysmal. This at least looks very good.

Yes, I'm looking forward to finishing out my collection of THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN. Then, I can dump all the homemade videotapes of those episodes I made over the years.

Next, I put in DOUBLE INDEMNITY. Oh, boy, what a difference in this now from the last hideous DVD issue! This has been cleaned and looks simply fantastic.

Due to a succession of phone calls, I wasn't quite able to finish it nor was I able to watch the documentary or hear any of the commentaries. Soon. . . .

Had a nice, brisk jog, a nice breakfast meeting, and then picked up the manuscript with the final set of corrections.  I've already entered all but a dozen (there really weren't that many, but she caught some good stuff) - I have to ponder the dozen or so that I'm not sure about, and have some questions about them.

Der Grampa is on his way back from ladsitting.  He wants to go out.  I've a hunch he wants a drink and to talk about Magic Mommy.  What she's been up to this time, I have no idea.

I forgot to mention this morning when I was talking about that WILD WILD WEST episode which I watched last night that it was directed by Richard Donner. I had NO idea he was directing TV in the mid-60s.

Why am I stunned?

I just received in the mail an item I won on eBay.  I paid "dearly" for it.  It was a competitively bid upon item.  The description was nearly too good to be true:  A "near Mint" (jacket and LP) 10-inch of MGM's "The Pirate" (first issue on 33 1/3).

This was issued in 1951.

It arrived today.  I expected nice...but I didn't expect THIS nice....the cover is like new...the LP is glossy/shiny.  The only telltale sign of age is in a slightly yellowed back (which was originally more eggshell than white).  The artwork is terrific.  The photo I'm adding here does not do the cover justice...at all!!!

Since CABARET takes place circa 1929-31, I'd hardly count it as a World War II movie, but I would MR ROBERTS and SOUTH PACIFIC to my list.

I wasn't sure when Cabaret was set, but I thought it was just on the cusp of WWW2
