In a little while (a Once Upon a Mattress reference ), my sister, niece and I will be going downtown to enjoy the last day of Olympia Harbor Days!

Harbor Days is an annual festival where tugboats return to the southernmost tip of Puget Sound for three days of entertainment, food, art, history, and a last farewell to the summer. Vintage, working and retired tugboats are moored at Olympia's Percival Landing. Many of them are open for tour on Saturday of the festival. Be on hand at noon Sunday as the tugs leave shore to participate in the Annual Harbor Days Tugboat Races, out in the deep channel of the bay.

After that, we're going to drive around the condo complex to see if very many of the units have garages. I didn't notice too many, but I wasn't looking before. Now that I have one, I want to know how rare they are...in this complex.

I watched a couple of things this afternoon. Started off with the third from the last episode of THE WILD WILD WEST's first season. This one had to do with a scientist who had invented a potion that could make one move so fast, he would be invisible to others. The potion was made from liquid diamonds, so he had to keep stealing them to be able to make the potion.

The name of the guest star didn't ring a bell, but he was almost as handsome as star Robert Conrad. That didn't happen very often during this series.

Then I put in a POIROT episode entitled "The Double Clue." This is the one where Poirot falls in love with a Russian baroness and seemingly neglects the investigation of some high class jewelry thefts.

BTW, for any folks interested in watching THE CLOSER and who might have missed some or all of this season's episodes, tomorrow morning starting at 9 a.m., TNT is rerunning the entire second season leading up to the season finale episode at 9 p.m.
