ASK BK ?

Did you cast your musical recordings like Night of the Hunter, Colette Collage, Drat! The Cat! and others like you'd cast the theater version?

Finally, a question.  I refuse to answer!!!  Only kidding.

NOTH and CC were cast collaboratively with the authors - but, yes, everyone on those recordings were perfect for their roles and the show.

Drat, I cast myself, as it was my baby.  I do think everyone on the recording could do the show, with the exception of Elaine Stritch, who wasn't really right for her role, but who we wanted for her talent and name value.

Really?  I had no idea MusicGuy communicated with anyone here other than BK.

DR Ron -- I often post a short "general" thought or idea or comment, and they are always meant for all of the H/Ks.  It is just that I only have an "in person" and face to face friendship with a very few of the DRs here in BK's Living Room.

I actually don't know a lot about the current city location, and background of a lot of the DRs here.........I are just not reel edicated !

Well, then you will just have to come to Tacoma and play the organ!

The parents are both gorgeous, as well as the grandparents.  All the puppies are exceptional.  If it weren’t for the blue eye the breeder would keep him, along with three others.

We found a number of caring, contentious breeders that only breed healthy top quality dogs, as of course this one is.  It is a shame all breeders aren’t like her.

Hello all!  The puppy is adorable.  Is it only an old wive's tale then that dogs with different colored eyes are always deaf?

The Vixter's ELA teacher (remember when it was English class, not" English Language Arts"? class) gave out her first written assignment of the year... she is having the kids write out an urban lengend in their own words, in three paragraphs using descriptiive language etc...  it made me wonder how many urban legends we could call to mind...

Vixmom-Yes.  White cats with a blue are deaf on the side with the blue eye.
With Bernese Mountain Dogs there are no health issues with blues eyes, it is just a disqualification.

I think cats with two blue eyes are deaf. We had a kitten we found in the middle of a busy street that was deaf. It ran off a few weeks later.

We had a blue/green eyed cat for several years. Not deaf. And very smart.

It is STILL raining! It trailed off a bit during PROJECT RUNWAY's second half, but picked right up as I sat down at the computer.

I'll be curious to see rainfall totals tomorrow.

I finished the KING KONG laserdisc with the Ron Haver commentary. Got a lot more movie-specific on the second side of the disc. Enjoyed his information and opinions. I wish he were still around to contribute to more commentaries.

Next I watched the WILL & GRACE Thanksgiving episode where Will volunteers to cook for Vince's family. Probably the funniest of the Season 7 episodes since Grace and Karen both made out with Vince's 16 year old cousin (who looked considerably older and didn't tell them he was a minor), Jack forced Vince's sister to come out as a lesbian (with a Renee Zellweger fixation), and Will tried to make amends to Vince's mother for having an accident while tring on four inch pumps at his insistence.

BONES had a sad story tonight about foster kids and the difficulty of their finding an unprejudiced place in the world. There was a type of truce between Temprance and Cam tonight, but I still wish they hadn't brought in this new boss. It just adds another level of antagonism that the show doesn't really need.

JUSTICE had a fast moving hour which definitely shocked at the end as the crime was shown and the true murderer revealed. Didn't see that one coming!

Some PROJECT RUNWAY thoughts (no real spoilers)

1. Was completely surprised by the twist at the beginning and furious, too.

2. The person who won was my choice for the best dress tonight. Very happy for this person, but it certainly threw the competition wide open now between the remaining four.

Looking forward to having a day completely at home tomorrow. No lunches out planned and I'm expecting to be "a bum" tomorrow.
