Oh, yes DR RLP - we have Dream Catchers in two sizes, but we do not make them ourselves.

Which one is the more potent?

Catching up here, there and everywhere.  It's kind of fun being completely out of the loop--it makes even more of the responses here complete non sequiturs.  :)

Tomovoz:  You simply must spend a moment or two reading this thread about Mrs. Alpert from the A&M Forum:

http://www.amcorner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7683&sid=9370d1f73460d1ca12d031e3176a4806

I have been assured by the site administrators that it is not an elaborate put-on, but I point out these gems:  the puppet show, the Korean theater piece and, my personal favorite, the singing couple where the girl is 13 and her boyfriend is 30.  Add in the fractured English and you have, again IMHO, a comedy classic.

Catching up on OCRs (cont'd):  I Sent a Letter to My Love--nice moments, good pianism, but, oh my heavens has Melissa Manchester's vibrato gotten wide enough to drive a Mac truck through ;0 ; The Human Comedy--quirky as only Galt McDermott can be, but I don't understand why this is considered such a classic.  Curmudgeonly side showing again.

Did a search for "amazon" and "amazon phone" and "Amazon Number" and couldn't come up with anything....I will leave it to the experts.  8)

I've mentioned my distasted for this film before but I'll do it again without a rant.

The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, or whatever it was called, one of the most disgusting, vile pieces of crap ever burned to celluloid (OK, I lied about the rant). I felt dirty after watching that garbage.
Goes to show!  I laughed myself crazy at end of that revenger's tragedy!

Ah, yes. The Tin Drum and Eyes Wide Shut are two more repulsive movies, although prentenious and boring can also be applied to Eyes Wide Shut.

Not to mention the generally repellent Tom Cruise who gets sleazier every year.

Is this it:  800-201-7575?

One more Brain number scored!  The goal is to finish all the musical numbers this week and spend the next two on orchestra parts and incidentals.

I do find their phone support to be helpful, and a little faux pas on their part was fixed quickly the other day.  Customer support is 800 201-7575.  Don't use any of the voice mail options - just wait for someone to come on the line.

... I have to find a way to reign in those litter crystals from getting tracked everywhere.

Bet if you boxed them up and sent them to JRand, he could find a magical market for them!

Having fun writing some incidental music for The Brain.  I was working with our musical director on it last night, but we hadn't found anything I liked for all the newspaper/newscaster montages - so I wrote a really fun thing and I'm very happy with it - it's actually used a whole bunch of times, so that's a major piece out of the way and elmore only has to score it once - all the rest are repeats.  It's also basically only about eight bars long (with two successive key changes, but the orchestration will remain the same).

I was just perusing Kritzerland's iTunes sales history, which is fascinating.  Most downloaded track?  Easy winner: Guy Haines - Second Avenue, miles ahead of the rest.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Guy Haines' SECOND AVENUE is brilliant. It's one of several favorites of mine from that CD. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to it.

RE: last night's HEROES.

.
.

I'm curious what people here thought of the waitress. Will she be on again? I thought that she and hiro were so cute together. I really hope that she comes back.

Also, is the indian kid mohinder (sp?) when he was little? And what do we call his powers? He can go to the past and gather info while he sleeps.

Oh and does the waitress have powers?

It was interesting how we did not get to see most of the heroes.  But i still enjoyed Hiro, indian guy, and matt.

Are we supposed to believe that claire's father is good?

One thing I have now realized aobut our new house is that there is NO logical place to put a litterbox. Alack!

Many years ago, a friend in LA had a dog who would use the shower if he wasn't able to get out. I don't think he was specifically trained to do this, either. Any animal trainers out there who know how to train cats? Oh! Maybe that's the problem: "training cats." Cats do tend to do what they want. Oh, well. Just an idea.
