I was in San Jose last week and yes the house did shake a bit on Wednesday.

Rodzinski was in Berkeley with his family.

We use www.bluehost.com for our theatre website and I have been very happy with the hosting AND the tech support.

Feel better vibes for all who need them.

Yes, pictures instead of lyrics....although the vote has already been counted.  The only time I look at the lyrics is when I can't understand what the singer is singing, and I cannot imagine that happening on a BK-produced CD!

Yes, DRGEORGE, I played the Peter Ustinov part and enjoyed it very much, except that the "actor" playing the Humphrey Bogart part did not know ANY of his lines, and those he did say, he said right to the audience.

This wonderful recording of tenor-baritone duets; it's primarily Victorian and Edwardian parlour songs, which I love, and this one as well:

Holy Cow!  I love David Hobson.  Had no idea that Warlow had done an album with him.

It doesn't come up when I enter Warlow at Amazon.com.

Where did you find it?

I thought I felt a "too cool" vibe when my plane landed last Wednesday!

Actually, I'm wrong.  It is on Amazon.com; look up Anthony Warlow in popular music.

RLP has had the idea of the day, and that's what we'll do.  We'll even use that disclaimer.

Well....that made a liar out of me, didn't it!

I searched Warlow last night and didn't see a thing by him that I didn't have on CD.

But...I obviously missed the very one.  It pops up prominently when I search Hobson.

edisaurus, my plan is to overnight the tapes to you either tomorrow or Thursday, so they'll be there Friday at the latest.

Friday would be good. I should be able to work on them next week. I just need to find enough drive space. I have friends who are opening up a new post place next week and will have a fresh new AVID so I may try to jump in before it gets all loaded up with media!

I'm working on my plans for my March trip to New York. I'm thinking Thursday (March 1) night - Curtains, Friday Night Spring Awakening and Saturday matinee Company.   I've been debating substituting Mary Poppins for Company, but I have the feeling it will be running for quite a while so I can see it later.

I'm not sure I'm going to like Spring Awakening, but with all the hoopla, I figure I should see it before I go to the Tonys

I got very sleepy once I hit the couch.  This happens whenever I hit the couch, but the couch is a bit sadomasochistic, so hit it I must.  I'm watching a Hammer noir - for this one the slumming American "star" is Barbara Payton, one of the sleaziest female "stars" I've ever seen on the screen - outdoing even the girl from Detour, Ann something.

Thanks, Jane.  I think my problem is just post-holiday let down along with some angst over a looming deadline for something I should never have volunteered to do in the first place.

I just hate when I volunteer like that.  That almost happened to me recently, I will still be volunteering but I won't be organizing something I really don't feel comfortable with in the first place.

Well, this thing I've gotten into will occupy huge chunks of my time until the end of April  :P

But, I've done about all I can do tonight and have to get up early for work tomorrow, so...

'night.
