Jose, have you ridden in the horse-drawn buggies they have in NYC?

Well, I started my day in freezing fog and ended it almost walking in on a bank robbery (verified on the local paper's website), so I think I'll turn in.

'night!

I'm feeling very relieved tonight. My parents were planning to come and spend the night Saturday on their way to Az. Well, the weather report has been getting progressively worse for the weekend, so I imagined that they would be stuck here for days on end. Well they've decided to take off early and drive on past Sioux City. As much as I'd enjoy a visit, between everything I have going on at work and getting ready to leave for NYC next week, I'm really glad they aren't staying.

I am very sleepy all of a sudden. Could it be because I awoke at 4:30 AM and had a very busy day?  Think I'll get some sleep.   This Judge Larry in the Anna Nicole hearings is very bizarre....

I did get a reorder from Footlight today, so that means they've sold their 20 Brain CDs and have ordered more.  Slowly, but surely and surely but slowly we go.

Interesting factoid:  Did you know that unless we have a frenzy, that this is only the second day this month when we'll have had less than three hundred postings?  I think that's quite an accomplishment, don't you?

Thanks again for the greetings.  Alas, there was no cake this year.  The fourth year the DP and I have been together and the fourth year hasn't produced a cake for my birthday.  We had a lovely dinner at the Macaroni Grill and stopped by Whole Foods for a cake (on my insistance) but nothing looked good so we picked up some chocolate covered graham crackers to have with some milk later.  Next year I'll just pull a cake out of the case!! (god willing).  Better enjoy the celebration while I can as tomorrow it's back to Pippin

Dear friends Maureen and Bill were here for dinner tonight.  They just did a play in Cincinnatti together at the Playhouse in the Park.

How can FJL only be at 5000 postings?  That seems so wrong.

Danise the Vixter and I have...

Former DH Noel and I have...

(It was about a year after we got engaged, and just a few months before we got married.  Must have been on our "dating anniversary", June 3.  He took me for a ride in a carriage, and somewhere along the way he proposed to me [again] and I accepted [again], giggling at the silliness of it all.  When we got out the driver congratulated us.  We giggled some more at that.  Then I got the idea that it might be fun to have the carriage pick us up from the wedding and take us the 8 blocks to the reception, so I asked the driver for a business card.  He reached under the carriage, fumbled around for a second, and then turned around and poured a handful of oats into my hand. )

And now, I shall return to my motion picture on DVD.  It's a short one and I should be done around nine.
