Why can I not find any Armenian restaurants in Los Angele's Little Armenia section?

Since the Armenians have conquered Glendale, most of the activity has moved there.

Thank you, George, Jane, Miss Karen, Ginny, SWoody, and MusicGuy. (Did I leave anyone out?)

It is most frustrating, indeed.

I just got back from a really awesome run up through the hills over here next to Los Feliz/Griffith Park...

I happened to pass by a coyote that was running down this road next to a golf club here - we passed within maybe 3 yards of one another, me going my way and him going his -- it was amazing; he didn't seem daunted at all to be passing by another runner.  Even stranger was that he was all alone in broad daylight.  As I was running by, I noticed he stopped and just watched a couple of golfers who were playing on the hole nearest us...curious little guy...

When I lived in Claremont (45 miles due East of LA), the coyotes lounging in the driveway would give me dirty looks when I returned - they would retreat to the sidewalk until I got into the house.

Cason a few years back we had a curious coyote that came into our yard, over the tall fence, & hung out with Keith while he worked.

Me, too, DR MBarnum?

You too DR Ginny. My problem is now that I don't know if I will go to Pittsburgh or not. With the LA trip in April I just don't think I can afford it...but might still make the jaunt to NY at some point...we shall see!

Dear M(hunka-hunk)Barnum ... You are not to stay in any hotels in Little Tokyo.  Just stick with that cool retro hotel you found behing the Chinese Theatre.  It is a good central spot from which to operate  --  just about equal times to West Hollywood, Studio City, and even shorter to the Asian area of the old east end of Hollywood Boulevard.

You have to tell me your exact dates that you'll be in La-La land, so that I can get you to Musso & Frank.  AND NO ARGUING !!   ;)

This time I will be sequestered at the Marriott hotel in Burbank as that is where the Ray Courts Hollywood show will be held...however I am going to be there a couple of days before hand so as to do the tourist type thing again...April 25 and 26 are my free days so come on down!

Musso and Franks....you won't get any argument out of me!!!!

I am hoping to have pancakes with BK on one of those days if he is available....DR Cason and DR Adriana Patti too, if they have a hankerin!

Are you sure it wasn't Rodzinski? He is in LA now, you know, and since he did co-star in both BLOOD OF THE WEREWOLF and another were-wolf movie that escapes me just now, maybe he is auditioning!

Ah, but which original cast recording?

The original New York City cast recording?

The original London cast recording, which preceded the NYC?

Or, if you really want to trump everyone, the original Paris cast recording, which has the original French lyrics!

NYC cast... However I would love to listen to the Paris cast someday.

Thank you, DR Jane!

While I was at the doctor's today, DH Richard was elsewhere giving blood.  He's kind of wiped out now, so I fed him a hot dinner and tucked him under a quilt to watch a movie.

I find coyotes to be rather interesting characters... Very tricky so you have to watch them. It is little wonder that Native American mythology associates them with tricksters..

Love wolves and I have seen a few in northern Minnesota.

And now, I'm heading downstairs to clean the den. Then, back to THE MUSIC MAN to continue from the spot where I stopped last night. We were just beginning "Marian the Librarian."

WBBL.

Personally, I could NOT have stopped at "Marian the Librarian" and gone to bed.

I don't know if it has anything to do with race. I really feel like it has more to do with the fact that Antonella's photos were taken by a friend for fun and not professionally produced for a paycheck the way Frenchie's were. And I'm sure it doesn't hurt that Antonella is a gorgeous 20 year old girl versus Frenchie who is not traditionally the face of american television.

In other words...she's more "bow-wow" than "woof" (in the complimentary sense)?

Nothing like waiting until almost the last moment.  ::)
Keith’s mother is having surgery tomorrow & the insurance finally sent in the approval, with much prompting from the doctor’s office.

Oh, gosh, HOPE AND FAITH! Another one I had forgotten all about, but that I liked....I am beginning to question my taste in television now! LOL!

I thought the husband on HOPE AND FAITH, Ted McGinley was very nice looking.  He could have just stood there for a half hour.

Thank you JRand.  The surgery is minor, the problem very painful & she is glad to be having it.  At least the hospital will keep her overnight before sending her home.
