So did everyone hear that the crying girl from Idol was planted in the audience? It was on Countdown with Keith Olbermann

...I haven't seen girls cry like that in an audience since...hmmmm, the Beatles! ...And let me see, weren't they part of the British invasion of the 60s?  Hmmmm, wasn't last night a salute to the British invasion of the 60s?  ...A plant?!  Nahhhh, it had to be merely a coincidence...AI Karma!!

(those AI producers are SOOOO subtle...)

TOD:

Fearless Leader:  Have you ever just thought, "What the hay, nobody's here, so I'm shutting her down early tonight. posting my column, and going to bed" before the witching hour?

Like tonight, you could just lock up early -- I won't tell (I'll even give you an alibi and swear I was here until midnight and nobody came, no body posted...)...

Good evening alll

I had a rather disturbing night at work. A man brought an elderly man in a motorized chair and left him. THe man in the chair had no id except for his name. I noted at 815 that he was still there and he had been in the library over 3 hours. I called campus security when he became ill. Later we found out that the family threw him on a buss and sent him to Fargo with a few belongings. The bus depot had no clue what to do with him and informed the taxi company to dump him somewhere. That somewhere was the NDSU library.

How heartless -- shame on the family, shame on the bus depot folks, and shame on the taxi cab driver.  What will happen to him? Where were they taking him tonight?

There were a couple of days in days of olde when there were so few posts that I got disgusted and locked the discussion board, opening it in the morning.  It's been years, though.

They took him to a hospital to get checked out. He as going to an elder care home after that. Criminal charges may be brought up against the family for dumping him off

bk ~ Case said he and Heather had the best time at dinner the other night.  He said they laughed and laughed, and then you would make them all laugh some more (he said you were in prime BK mode -- and were most entertaining and completely won Heather over)...
