Want to take care of a few things in the office before heading downstairs to clean the dining room and then settle in to watch more things I recorded last night.

Oh my DR SWW - I think Equity says you must have at least 10 hours between calls....you'd better contact your company rep.

It seems the employer keeps an upper hand. How many unionized workplaces do you know that are allowed to staff all major work areas with part-time help only!

The other times I've been dismissed by phone.

And in this case, a welcome brushoff!

It took me three posts to do what originally I tried to send once twice.  Oh, God, I still sound like Gertrude Stein.

Jo is off running errands and I am alone, the laundry is in the dryer, I want to finish TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD today, I have vehicular titles to sign for the attorney and my brothers, and tonight I dine with my friend Loyce, whom I've not seen in about a year.  She and I will catch up, I will pack, and beg for good vibes.

For the most part i really liked last night's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.

SPOILERS

SPOILERS

I guess we have to see Edie's story as a replacement for bree (marcia cross) being out having her babies.

I really liked gabrielle's story. I like her new love interest. And i loved watching her steal the dresses. You just knew she was going to do it.

I don't really like ian (never have). So not that interested in all the pre-num drama. Although watching susan be so clumsy was funny.

And it was interesting to see lynnette get all mad and then find her husband was injured. That should put a new twist on things.

Not sure what i think of edie and carlos.  I'll have to reserve judgment on that one.  But overall very entertaining show.

Battered hump - that should be the name of a dish of some sort

I made a Hump Cake for Easter lunch yesterday.  No, wait, it was a Dump Cake.

Um...so that is really the cast of the play MATTHEW PASSION? And is that their costuming?

I wonder if that play will still be going on if/when I go to NY in June??? I must be sure to get some cultural education while I am there, after all.

You know, maybe a 1950s version of BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN starring Aldo Ray and Jeff Richards? I would enjoy that as well.

The office air is way too close for me today.  Odors are merging and mingling in ways that cause my sinuses to waver between opened and closed.

Some really obnoxious perfume is being worn by one co-worker...and it's being worn to mask a bit of body odor.

It's nausea-inducing.

How about POSEIDON, but instead of Kurt Russell, Josh Lucas, Richard Dreyfuss, and Emmy Rossum; why not use some great B actors like Gene Hackman, Stella Stevens, Roddy McDowell, and Shelley Winters?

If any forum monitors have been appointed, please someone post a list.

:D

Oh no, dear RP, not a forum monitor at all.  Just a small "style" element that I thought Naomi would want to know.  If we were to have an official monitor, it would probably be someone who could bark orders in a rather "naval-military" manner.   :o  ;D

Have you a spray fragrance handy to disguise the odor?
