That has always bothered me....mainly because I was more often friends with folks either in the class ahead of me or behind me.   I've often considered crashing their reunions just to have some fun.

Me, too, DR Ron Pulliam.  I had more good friends in the classes just ahead and just behind me than in my own.

DR Musicguy, I will take a look around and see what I have that you might like. There are some lobby cards (11x14s) from previous auctions that did not sell...some nifty ones from the 1940s...I will see if any are from musicals...of course who knows if something from from BLOODLUST!, WHY GIRLS LEAVE HOME, or ILLIGAL WIVES might appeal to you! LOL!

And they will not say why the campus was NOT closed down between the first incident and the second incident....classes were meeting as usual...and it would seem that MANY students and faculty didn't even know a shooting had taken place in the dormitory.

Archduke Charles is the Holy Roman emperor, I thnk, not the Pope.  Her may not be the same Charles who sought marriage to Elizabeth.  Mary Tudor - aren't they calling her Margaret in this series? - married Charles Brandon against Henry's wishes, and I love the set-up for those two.  It's very Beatrice and Benedict.  I'm puzzled by the comment from Boleyn and Norfolk about bringing Brandon into their plot since he and Mary Tudor both hated Anne Boleyn.

I can't find any record of the character Pace who went to the Tower last night because of Wolsey

I've started reading about the War of the Roses, speaking of family feuds.

I wondered about Pace myself. I wasn't familiar with the name at all.

I guess they're calling her Margaret so folks won't mix her up with Henry's daughter Mary. Too many Marys in the mix, I guess.

I just have to say...

I was listening to Guy Haines's New Guy In Town in the car on the way home from work today.  I don't know if it was because I was done with work, or that the sun was starting to break through the clouds, or if it was just the obvious pleasure he was taking in his performance, but "Cowboy Waltz" just filled me with complete...joy.  :)

I like to listen to Guy Haines....but he sounds a lot like John from "The Creature Wasn't Nice."

Has anyone ever done what John did with his blender during "Cooking With John"?

I'm heading down now to start cleaning chores for the week: Monday is the dining room. Then, back to last night's WITHOUT A TRACE and then into prime time TV.

The "Cowboy Waltz" may be my alltime Guy Haines favorite.  It reaches past the lump in my throat and tears out my heart with its emotions.

Cowboy Waltz was the most difficult Haines song because, as most of you know, he likes to sing songs with a range of five notes.  Cowboy Waltz keeps getting higher and higher, but you have to keep it in a certain key or the low notes are too low.

I've got the last two episodes of UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS Season 1 tonight.

Today, I got 4 DVDs from Amazon.co.uk: PETER'S FRIENDS, THE LONG FIRM, the Ealing Studios 1947 film of NICHOLAS NICKLEBY, and the BBC MADAME BOVARY with Frances O'Connor.

MattH - that would be swell.  And if they repeat and you can grab that first episode, that would be swell, too.  Or, if anyone else has the first episode.

Joshie is a cat. He is a leftover from our foster-for-the-pound days when he flunked adoptions day. He loves us, though.

I guess machine stitching in Sherwood Forest doesn't bother anyone else.
We gave up on Robin Hood after 20 minutes - not because of the stitching.  It was just too dumbed down and it was it really likely that Robin had been at the Crusades for 5 years!
The new UK series premiered here on Sunday night.
(I prefer the old UK Richard Green version - and its theme song)
