On The Lot is just one more step in the complete amateurization of America and you know what - we don't need it.  TV is now one big Ted Mack's Amateur Hour and it's just too much.

Dear people, the holiday is OVER.  Why do we have LESS posts?  And if anyone is in contact with vixmom, someone please tell this woman to OPEN HER E-MAILS.  She wrote me two days ago about an order she never got through to me, and I've written her back, told her what to do, and there's been only silence, both at her e-mail and on this site via PM.  I just don't get it, frankly.

I've done two motion pictures on DVD - deciding if I want to do one more.

My computer just did a security update and such, and then required restarting.  The last time it happened, as I mentioned on this here site, it took two times restarting to get the keychain "change all" button to appear, and it was really annoying.  So, I did a permissions repair, the first I've done in about four months, and that, apparently, fixed it, and I got the change all button as soon as it restarted, which is the way it's supposed to work.

On the Lot may not be dead to me yet, but it's on life support.  I actually love the premise of the show--at least the first two episodes, but this obvious rip-off of American Idol really, really annoyed me this evening.

Jews don't lift bales, hence the expression "christian bale."

BK, I agree TV IS one big Ted Mack amateur hour.  Which is why I don't much watch  it any more.  We're now living in the age of the Amateur as Auteur...and what a frightening thought it is! Gong them all!

Our GUESTS come here to read sparkling things that they cannot read elsewhere, and yet there are only a handful of non-WUSSBURGERS in attendance.

An interesting phenonmenon, Internet-wise - because the usual idiots have the usual boards to do nothing but bellyache on regarding their favorite DVDs that need to be done correctly, most recently the years of bellyaching about the lack of the roadshow Sand Pebbles.  But, when they finally get what they have been yearning for not ONE of these people can be bothered to post about it.  It's like they live to bellyache and then it's on to the next.  I posted at several places about the roadshow version, as I did here, and there has not been ONE response from any of the bellyachers.  Typical.
