Speaking of these actors who appeal to the young people, exactly when was Rex Smith a teen idol, as reported in his bio?

ooh in the 70's I guess it was, when was he in Pirates of Penzance on Broadway?  He played Frederick and Loinda Rondstat was Mable...

but the Pirate King........ah.. the Pirate King...
my first glimpse of Mr. Kevin Kline.................................<sigh>

Oh Rex Smith.... late 70's  I think

My clipping service informs me that England's gift to horse's asses, now blessing Toronto with his presence, has been throwing stones at our fomer DR Noel today.

I should think I would have remembered him.

Isn't NUMB3RS supposed to be a good show? (I keep forgetting to watch it.)

In my opinion it didn’t live up to its potential.  The shows I thought were excellent (unfortunately there have been too few of those) were ones that usually centered on Rob Morrow’s character.  More than often the show centers on the brother & his math theories, even when Morrow’s character should have solved the crime faster without the assistance.

I still occasionally watch the show for Morrow.  Keith has given up on it.

Count me in as a Kline fan and I like "Loinda" a lot too.  (I'm never disappointed with her CDs)

I'd forgotten about Rex on "solid gold".

We have such taste here. (Dear Reader Laura would be impressed). Mrs Miller made it to the top 40 here.  She was only able to reach the lower rungs of the the top 100 in the USA.

I think Mrs. Miller is swell.

Solid Gold - Marilyn McCoo in a different dimension.

...From which she never really left/escaped/recovered. ;)

-And didn't Sheena Easton do a stint on "Solid Gold" for a while too?

Oh, and, of course, one cannot forget those "Solid Gold Dancers"!

My grizzly day yesterday, my poor night's sleep last night, and my 2 glasses of "red juice" before/with dinner have done me in.

'night!

I liked Sheena's recording until the "Prince" era.  Her "No Strings" Cd is fine.

That's all fine and well, but what I want to know is...will it get a recording??

:)

I'm pretty sure it will.  RCA - or whatever the company is now - seems to "like" them.  I mean, if "A Man of No Importance" can get recorded, well..

-I'm not disparaging "A Man of No Importance", just saying that if a show that had a limited run can get recorded, well, then...  And if not RCA, then most likely PS Classics.  I hope.

I love "A Man Of No Importance". (More satisfying than "Dessa Rose")

The film is very worthwhile too - and available on DVD
