Too bad Bukowsical won't be sooner, like in late June when a good portion of the HHW contingent will be in NY!

Oh, and DR Edi, I love your new avatar -- most lovely!

False advertising, but thank you!

I actually wanted to post my favorite photo of myself---even younger, but with my ancient cat when he was young, too. But even though it was 12K, the site said it was too big. So I'll settle for my Marie Osmond look...

Before Mr. P shakes his fists toward the heavens and curses my name, I do believe I'll take my leave (with one last flutter of her fan, she curtsies and exits)... Bye, y'all!

Wait - S&V is so over-priced it qualifies for free shipping all by its lonesome :(

Or you could wait and order it from our website so we get a kickback! ;D

Good Afternoon!

Ahhh... Nothing like 50 minutes of circuit weight-training and some yoga to get one's blood flowing - and one's muscles pumping.  :)

*I think I've actually come across a dumbbell workout that I actually like doing, and that has enough alternate exercises to keep me interested - and that aren't too complicated, well, that I don't have to constantly think about (proper form, stance, etc.)  In fact, I was going to stop after my third circuit, but I went ahead and went for the suggested/highly recommended fourth circuit.  Plus, I added a set of lunges and push-ups at the end - which are also an option with this plan.

:)

They just landed with a big noise here!  I need to go outside but I'm scared.

I thought your dumbbell workout was saying to a cute blonde "My name's Jose" and if he didn't know his own name, dragging him home.

Well, one of them is currently dumping buckets of rain here in upper Manhattan.

No, that dumbbell workout involves raising one glass of whatever I'm having and three of whatever he's having.

Maybe if we were able to sell millions of them, like Harry Potter, we could make them a little cheaper!

BTW...$18.26 at Deep Discount or $26.99 at Amazon!

I sometimes turn on the captioning when watching Grey Gardens.  It helps when Little Edie is whispering.

My ex-boyfriend is from Pakistan.  Even though he's been in the US for 21 years or so, he still has a little trouble understanding some things.  For his birthday one year, I got him a DVD player and taught him about subtitles on DVDs.  He was VERY happy about that. :)

That would take far too much energy on my part.

More rain today, and it wasn't in the forecast. But it's fine by me. Yes, it means I'll be mowing the grass sooner rather than later, but it also means these cooler temperatures will hang around a bit longer.
