(I could have done the obvious and posted an image of DANCE A LITTLE CLOSER but I didn't want to hex DR Edi's show with a flop.)

Wow, another FORBIDDEN ZONE fan? Wow!  That should have been on my list.
And I thought of putting HEAD on the list as well.
Edi, I think you would like the films of Guy Maddin, if you haven't checked any out yet.

DR Jose, you mean you look at them and decide if they are the right type for the role?

I suspect he looks at them and decides if they're good for a roll.

I have been thinking about the TOD, and I would consider these items:

Plays:  WAITING FOR GODOT, which I respect but never want to sit through again
Albee's THE SAND BOX and THE AMERICAN DREAM
Kopit's OH, DAD, POOR DAD . . . and THE DAY THE WHORES CAME OUT TO PLAY TENNIS
Ionesco's THE CHAIRS, THE LESSON, and THE BALD SOPRANO

TV:  POPULAR, the Season One closer was so far in left field I can't wait to see Season Two

I will get controversial for a moment:  So when producers kvetch that people who audiiton aren't well-prepared for a specific audition, let me remind them of the times that people prepare, even hire a coach to learn something, and then get typed out.  :)

Yes DR BRIAN if you liked L'AVENTURRA you must by all means catch AVENTERERRA....unless you don't like Mexican musical melodramas with Cuban leading ladies.

Back from shipping off some stuff.  In a short while I shall be on my way to Vinnie's to try and finish Susan Egan's CD, although I suspect that will ultimately take a total of two to three days beyond what Vinnie has done on his own - but maybe it will go faster than I think, since his mixes will probably be close given it's only piano and voice.  But the editing of the patter is what always takes time, esepcially if I'm cutting and pasting between the two shows.

Edi, I think you would like the films of Guy Maddin, if you haven't checked any out yet.

I have the films and the soundtracks of both. Remember the scene in which Davy Jones dances to Daddy's Song and his tux changes back and forth from black to white? That was just magical and thrilling to me when I was in Jr. high, and one of those moments, like the end of HAROLD AND MAUDE, that led me to be an editor, even though I didn't know what an edit was at the time!

I will check out Guy Maddin. Where do I begin?

I meant to comment last night on THE UNINVITED:  I've seen this movie a couple of times since it's been in TCM rotation the past few years, but it wasn't until Robert Osbourn and his co-host brought it up last night that I ever realized that Skinner's character was a lesbian (but then again, I do have incredibly bad gaydar.)  Now I also find it laughable that both Osbourn and his gay co-host found this to be a stretch of the imagination.  Sheesh--of course, she's a lesbian!

In any case, I never understood why this character was in the film to begin with.  She's really an unnecessary red herring in a fine ghost story that doesn't need such a distraction.

THE UNINVITED is one of my favorite films, & one of my favorite Ray Milland films.  I wish I had watched it last night cuz to see what the fuss is about.  ;D

We did it! Thanks, Hainsies/Kimlets!

TNT's Season 3 Premiere of THE CLOSER is BEST OF ALL TIME

GREAT NEWS!

Please tell the network we did not watch HEARTLAND because of those stupid pop-ups.  We appreciate not having commercials, but those pop-ups were BORING!

I will be playing Mortimer in the 2007 production of THE FANTASTICKS.

Just read that we even had higher ratings than any of the broadcast networks in the 9PM hour. That's huge!
