Oh... I fired up the gas grill on our back patio a bit earlier, and grilled me up some salmon burgers for dinner. They were pretty good, and at least now I know how long not to cook them.

-They weren't over-over-cooked, but I think they would have been a little better if I had taken them off the grill one or two minutes earlier.
Alas, getting the grill to start was a bit interesting. And I also had to clean out the grill. A lot. One of the roomies had put charcoal briquets in it
last(!) summer, which you really don't need to do with a gas grill. I didn't realize that she - or anyone else - had not cleaned out the grill since then. They've used the grill a few times already this season, and it looks like no one ever cleaned it before or after they used it. Again. Needless to say, it's clean now, but it does appear that because it was not cleaned out regularly, the igniter rusted out - but that's what matches are for. In any case...
I'm not normally a "griller", but since I had picked up some salmon burgers from Whole Foods the other day and they had a nice, big "Ready for the Grill" sticker on the package, well...
Tomorrow's dinner: Tuna burgers.
*And since I had managed to pick up a set of grill-cleaning tools at Williams-Sonoma about two or three years ago when they were on clearance...
