;D  I will let you know.  Was it hot there today?

Today was a very comfortable day, with a soft breeze wafting across all three rivers. . . .

Oh good, a nice day for Ioana's first time in the city, or wherever they went exploring.

It's humming Glenda's Place from Whoop-Up.

Is that because it doesn't know the words?

DR Ginny M & M world is a zoo, but for some reason, I loved it....must be the chocolate

It wasn't until I got to the second floor that I saw any actual M & M's.  Most of the first floor was all kinds of stuff that we don't need with the M & M's logo on it.  Our favorite part was the curly-headed little girl telling her father, "The second floor, Daddy.  That's where the A-a-a-a-a-ction is!"

I spent most of the day cleaning and throwing out things: I have five cartons of...videos to cart down to the library of the Gay & Lesbian Community Center during the week.

But what will you have left to play in your VCR?    ::)

DH Richard and I are back from The Fantasticks, which was sweet and simple.  It's nice occassionally to be up close to the actors and hear their voices unmiked.  I wasn't crazy about El Gallo - he was a little too smarmy for me.  As a director, DR Elmore gave his Mute a lot more to do than the director of the show we saw tonight.  But Elmore didn't make me pole dance.

Pet peeve - parents who take children to the theatre who don't know how to behave.  Richard was on the aisle, I was second, and a family of 5 sat to my left - Mom, Dad, 2 teenage girls, and a boy about 10.  They put the boy next to me and he wiggled the whole time.  He had on these huge hiking boot-type shoes and kept kicking me.  Considerate parents would have sat on either side of him and monitored his behavior.

And to dear DR Jose...... of course the chocolates are exempt from the temporary "no dessert" rule.  As they were purchased last week, they are obviously "grandfathered" in under what surely must be a statute somewhere!  Maybe CillaLiz can do a little research and come up with precedent and case law.

.........And maybe I could eat the entire display case at The Little Pie Company....  :)

Chocolates have anti-oxidents in them. They are healthy and therefore not desserts....see U.S.v 100 Chocolate Bars

No one has commented on why people veer to the right when going over a dip in the road.

People think that the normally traveled portion of the road will have deeper dips than the less traveled portion..i.e. the right side, so they veer thinking there will be less of a dip..

When I was little and we saw a "Dip" sign, I'd ask my brother what he was doing along side the road....ok, he'd ask me if he saw it first

I have been to the M&M Store in Las Vegas, and I do not understand it; my kids, however, love the place.

Is anyone watching The Next Food Network Star?   I won't say anything about who was eliminated, but Alton Brown was in charge this episode

Cilla what is on your agenda for tomorrow?

Hmm I'm trying to decide. I have a dentist appointment at 1:00 PM, so I'll be in town. I know I'm going to the office for a while, there are a number of things I want to do there. So I'll play it by ear.  I wasn't going to work on Thursday or Friday and ended up at the office most of both days. So although I've told people I'm on vacation, this doesn't feel like work. I'm setting things up for my business, it's fun!

When I took my Mom to Vegas, she insisted on passing through the floor of M&M's World where they gave out the free candy several times, a ritual we repeated each time we visited the discount Ticket Center in the World of Coke in the same building.  How much touring time we lost getting that free candy, I can't begin to add up.  What is it about the concept of free food?

What do we all think of Andrea McArdle and do we think she might be good as the wife in The Brain?

I see lots of dear readers, so perhaps we'll have lots of postings.  Anything to keep me from going back to this monstrosity entitled The Big Cube.  I wonder if there's anyone on the imdb...

I really am getting off, just waiting for Sherlock to finish drinking his water so I can rinse & refill the bowl.
