It seems that all I really want to do today is nap. And nap. And nap some more. Strangely enough, I haven't taken a nap today. And I guess I probably should have. However, I'm meeting some friends in a bit for dinner, so...

In the meantime, I did give my niece, Emily, a bath. I think most of the water managed to stay in the tub.

Has anyone tried those Harry Potter Bertie Bott's Beans? The "Every Flavor" assortment includes: Black Pepper, Booger, Dirt, Earthworn, Earwax, Grass, Pickle, Rotten Egg, Sardine, Sausage, Soap and Vomit. -Along with Blueberry, Cherry, Tutti-Frutti, etc.

I bought two boxes yesterday at For the Love of Chocolate for my roomies. And although I do consider myself to have an adventurous appetite, I am a bit hesitant about trying them myself.

Anyone?

*Although, it appears the Spinach flavor from the original assortment has been discontinued. $:-\$

If I recall correctly, the "matinee Evita" was a holdover from the London production. I think.

Just spoke on the phone with Shelli from Abode, "The Smart Alternative" for NYC furnished apartments for short term stays. She didn't laugh or hang up on me when I gave her our dates, preferred location, and price range. She's supposed to call me back tomorrow.

Could this be the kind of agency that your friend used, DR Jose?

Uck. I cut a movie for a woman one time. She didn'thave a rich husband but she did have a rich daddy. She wrote a movie based on an event in her life...it was awful, but she was able to hire a good crew. She did not enjoy the shooting process...the crew would drink beer after the shoot (how disgusting!) and she didn't get to know any of them---they were beneath her.

Then she found sitting in the edit "torturous". I told her that hsould be the most exciting part---it's like watching your child being born, etc.

My DH summed it up perfectly: "This film is just another charm on her charm bracelet". "Surprisingly", she never made another film.

I've just been reading some reviews too.

Two of my roomies are going to the All Hallows Ball (?) that Border's is hosting Friday night/Saturday morning. I thought I would just give them something to snack on while they wait.

Tomorrow the Emmy nominations are announced. I'm very eager to see which shows that I watch regularly get included in the various categories.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Kyra in THE CLOSER, DR Edi. (Would love to see some of the other actors get nominated, but the drama categories are SO overcrowded with potential nominees.)
