I am wondering if anyone can add to list. Movie Themes that had lyrics added after the fact.

Where Do I Begin? (Love Story)
Speak Softly Love (The Godfather)
A Time For Us (Romeo & Julliet)
Somewhere In Time (Somewhere In Time)
Laura (Laura)
The Music of Goodbye (Out of Africa)
Somewhere My Love (Doctor Zhivago)
The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance (The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance)
Aournd the World (Around the World in Eighty Days)

Didn't they put lyrics to "Tara's Theme" from GONE WITH THE WIND?

I am SOOOO glad my DH came along today. By the time we were coming home, the dirt road was a MUD road. We slid sideways and even around once in the mud.  I had to get out of the car and flap my arms at the cows on the road and tell them to "Mooo-ve out of here!" I was afraid he would hit one, because he certainly couldn't stop.

Next, I started watching LOVE IS THE DEVIL, a biographical film about the life of British painter Francis Bacon who rose to fame in the 1960s and drew his inspiration from a man who robbed him and later became his lover (played by Daniel Craig).

This has been sitting on my shelf for years unwatched, and it was eye-opening, a very arty, moody piece on inspiration, lust, and the dissolution of souls.

The transfer is not great: non-anamorphic, soft, smeared looking in places but with pretty robust Dolby Surround sound.

A phone call interrupted my viewing of the movie.

How about "Picnic"?

I was not aware of that song. It was recorded by Perry Como and it was recorded by The McGuire Sisters

The phone call was my friend Jeff who urged me to turn to THE NEXT BEST THING (the impressions show on ABC). This was my first time watching it at all, but I was most impressed with the Little Richard, the Tina Turner, and the second Elvis (dressed in the all leather outfit). Many others were very good, but for me, those three stood out.

OH!  Excusez-moi pour mon faux pas.

-I thought you still had a Kentucky one.

-See, I don't know everything.  ;D

Hehe... Well...I accidentally washed my KY license, so I had to get the NY license so I could fly home a few Christmases ago. I know most license photos look awful, but mine is particularly bad. They took the photo from a weird angle under the chinline, so my fat face was made to look even fatter! Tres unflattering...

Jose: Shall I get you an I <3 KY t-shirt while I'm home?

Cillaliz, yes, Casa Vieja is still there, but I think I read that it recently sold to a developer. So I don't know what its future will be.

Oh dear, DR Vixmom! I should think a flooded basement is not fun at all. I hope everything dries out for you!

I'll check in from Kentucky when I get the opportunity. Or at least with DR Jose, who can then relay any messages... :)

I think ITunes is taking PC too far.
A Rodgers/Hammerstein's song is censored on some listings. Another has a notation that it is the clean version.

The Song: C**k-Eyed Optimist
The singer with the clean version? Bing Crosby
