But since I have no experience whatsoever, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about getting greenlighted.

At least it wasn't a product intended for DR elmore3003's VCR...

And I hope your disappointment doesn't spoil your day.

Well, that's what she called it!  I have a few choice titles.

I bet you do ... DR ELmo, have I told you lately that you are wickedly delightful (and that's with three snaps) !

Then I want no part of it -- I only agreed to play Miss Marple's twin when I thought it was the X-rated version ...  ;D

And the word of the day is: HORRIPILATION!
If the popular series of children's horror stories, Goosebumps, had been titled HORRIPILATION instead, would anyone have read them?

The clock and the midnight hour should be told to get a room.

Why would you have movies with you on a deserted island? Is there a working DVD player- what if you had all DVD's but there was only a VCR?! THE AGONY!

Even if there was a player for these movies, what would be the power source? Can you plug it into a tree?
Monkees on bicycles, m'dear, peddaling for all their worth and charging up the batteries.  It's an awesome sight, let me tell you, and strangely erotic...

Nope! Pate (but the good kind with those fancy crackers or toast point things served in a 5-star joint)

What a way to start the day, seeing this greeting as I logged onto HainesHisWay.com:

Please welcome SUPERPORNOGAYS, our newest member.

I refuse to speculate to whom it might actually refer!

Does the name "Bobby Hoffman" (sp?) mean anything to you?

Bruce Kimmel:

Does the name "Bernadette" mean anything to you in reference to an actress who had a line in a movie:

"Alcohol makes me horny"

Which prompted several guys in the scene to push their drinks toward her?

If the name was Superpornogaze, it might mean our dear DR Elmore has competition!

Bruce Kimmel:

Does the name "Gary" ring any bells...a "Gary" who once  had "Horshack hair" and wore a leather jacket...who was a struggling young actor in the early 80s and is now a writer?

To explain myself, Bruce, I was listening to the Stephanie Miller Show on Quake Radio this morning (960 FM).  She was on the phone with Gary and they were discussing the "good old days"...and Bobby Hoffman whom they both knew and worked with in order to get parts on TV comedies.

If you knew any of these folks, I thought you'd probably like to know.

"Horripilation Theater?"  Yeah, I'd have tuned in just to see what it could possibly mean.

Aside from DR François [who's been on vacation], I've missed errant & truant DRs td, TCB, and der Brucer around HHW of late.
Der Brucer was busy reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows of late.  He has finally finished the tome, and the doggies are much relieved because this means he can spend more time paying attention to them!

Goosebumps was a series of children's books before they got a television transfer.

...TOD:
  ...  At least 2 videocassettes

Have those videocassettes transferred to DVD - you'll be able to have so much more packed on them!

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I had a bad dream last night.  Well, a very unsettling one at the least...

I was the musical director/musical for a show.  I think Jack O'Brien was the director - or at least someone who looked like him.  And Carol Burnett was one of the stars, if not thee star.  It seemed the rehearsals were going relatively well, and then when it came time for a major run-thru, as soon as I started playing the Overture (on the piano), Ms. Burnett comes over to me, and grabs my wrists while I'm trying to play.  WHAT?!?!?!?  I hear the director - Jack O'Brien?? - start to yell something while looking over at me.  I try to show him that Carol is literally preventing me from playing.  Someone calls, "Hold!", and they start to reset for the top of the show.  Then the director comes over to me, "I'm sorry, but we have some other people interested in doing the show."  WHAT?!?!?  -I wasn't even sure if I was fired.  In any case...

What was really weird was that this dream occurred in stages.  I remember waking up after part of the dream to go to the bathroom...  Then the dream continued... Then I remember getting up out of bed to turn my alarm off, then getting back in to bed to laze for a while... Then the dream continued again... So...

Just plain weird.  And I think I may need to head to the Reservoir for a light jog to help clear it all out of my head.  And maybe even scream a little bit.  ???

Personally, I preferred the spoof of the Strident/Kristofferson film, done by Carol Burnett and Glen Campbell... of the album cover!

They were clandestine lovers who were stuck in that pose when one of her brats poured superglue all over them!  Just wait 'til Daddy gets home!
