I saw an interesting film called "The Zodiac" on one of the HD channels yesterday evening.

It stars Justin Chambers as a detective on the trail of "the Zodiac killer", and has an eerie performance by William Mapother as a newscaster.

The voice of "the Zodiac killer" (we never see his face, or his full frame) was Brian Bloom.

Well, I guess I need to head downstairs and get to mopping the kitchen floor. I'll be listening to the Smnothers Brothers as I mop today.

It is a very quiet afternoon.  Only three of us in the office, although we are five strong today.

Friday....

....the most wonderful day of the week.

RLP - if it said I was here on HHW a half hour ago, well, at least I don't remember being here then.

Back from rehearsal.  We didn't have Rob Evan today, so we spent the first half of the day putting Alet into all her scenes and running those musical numbers within the scenes.  I had to remind her of a few bits, but mostly she just got right back into it and remembered everything.  She's so wonderful in this show and she's having a blast because her compatriots are such strong actors.

I had to have a production meeting during lunch hour, mostly about financial issues, prop concerns and all that crap.  After lunch, we ran a cue to cue of all the scene shifts and cleaned those up, plus ran the tap number again a few times, plus ran the number we're doing at the street fair on Sunday.

It was so nice to meet Rodney Gilfrey today - a big, strapping fellow.  And it's always fun to have people who don't know the show at all sit in because then there are some laughs in the room.  There was some guy who was from that podcast thing on B'way Bullet who came by and watched and took some notes.

In about twenty-five minutes I shall mosey on over to the Snapple Theater (or the Jerry Orbach - is that what they're calling it now?).

FJL, any new news since our conversation?

Very humid again today - it's been so nice the last few days, but boy was it oppressive when we left rehearsal.  I was in the mood for some hot nuts but didn't get any.  Perhaps on our way to the theater I'll get a bag.

The only thing I've eaten today was a small Eyetalian sandwich that someone brought me to eat during our meeting.  It was from that place Europa - the third time I've had it and the third time was not the charm - it wasn't very good today.

Haven't decided whether food will be in the offing post-Fantasticks.  I'm pretty tired, and I definitely don't want Joe Allen, although now that I say that, maybe I do want Joe Allen, at least a little salad and a burger.  We shall see.
