In any case, I recommend we stop talking about DotM and let him lurk to his heart's content.  And, of course, if DotM would like to send me a PM to actually have a discussion, well, I'd be more than happy to reply.  Somehow, however, I don't think that will be happening.

OH!  And my friend, Otis, from college also loved the show today too!  When we made our way to our seats, he commented, "WOW!  You must have some great friends!"  Indeed I do.

I took a nice drive - it's chilly here in the City of Studio.

Jose - Skip really likes artichokes, though, so I'll get more of the other stuff.  Works out perfectly.  :)

OK - I'll bite! What was said that was wrong?

When I first read this, I thought you had posted:

"What was it that I said that was wrong?"

And I was going to respond... Well, no need to respond now.

My next Radio City visit is planned for Thanksgiving weekend.   Having heard mixed things about Cirque du Soleil's WINTUK, I figure a repeat visit to Radio City will be the better kick-off to the real holiday season.

Hmm... No, but I do know of a rock group called Mobius from Massachusetts.

Have you been asked to direct another show?  A European version of the Party Animals perhaps?  ;)

I'm going Chinese for dinner tonight.

Hot and Sour Soup (from a mix, my bad)

Battered and Fried Pork and Pineapple, with either a Sweet and Sour Sauce, or a Ginger Sauce (der B's choice for what he wants - I'll be doing Ginger myself)

Stir fried veggies with a lemon sauce (because I've got the lemons)

Stir-fried rice, with bacon batons and scallions

It was beautiful here today, in the 70s and bright sunshine.   I went to the house party for Barbara Richardson. I liked her very much.  She is as down to earth as her husband, very personable and had a great sense of humor.  I now have a Bill Richardson sign in my yard.  I shall caucus for him.

Time to take the roast beef with carrots and potaoes out of the over. I haven't made this in a long time (I usually do rice instead of carrots and potatoes) I'm looking forward to it.

ATTENTION FELLOW MYSPACE MEMBERS-

There's a new round of spamming/commenting/account hacking going on.  In fact, mine might have been "fished", so...  If you happen to have received a comment from me - a video comment - over the past day or two, just delete it.  I did not send it.

I actually received the same "comment" from two of my friends as well as from "myself".  Ah, the "joys" of the internet.  :-\

I wondered what you were trying to tell me. I didn't recognize a single person in it.

Yeah, I think there are a couple different videos attached to the comment.  Just to be safe, I'd change your MySpace password which is what I did too.

Oh... It's cold here in New York City today.  At least a little colder than I thought it would be before I set foot out of the apartment earlier.

Back from the other end of the house, where I watched Skate Canada on ESPN and read a delightful novella, The Uncommon Reader, by Alan Bennett of History Boys fame.  Sure never saw the ending coming  :-X !

Jason was "phished" (the correct spelling for this usage ;)), also.  I deleted both of your messages.  They just didn't seem right. :)

Well, it's quite overcast and chilly, right now.  I was hoping to take a little walk in the new shoes that I bought yesterday at Costco ($15.49 before tax), but I think it's actually raining.  Anyway, the shoes that I got are Court Classics and I would assume are supposed to be shoes for playing tennis, but hey, for $15.49, who cares?  I wore them last night to usher for the jazz band concert, and they were so comfortable.  It's a nice (financial) change from $95 shoes. ::) I don't think that these will last as long as the $95 shoes that I've gotten before, but again, for $15.49, who cares?? :D

Jose - Skip made lamb for dinner and suggested I at least try the artichoke-heart bread with the lamb.  Well, the bread is fabulous! (And i normally hate vegetables.)

And I'm even getting to keep my extra share of the other goodies, so it really is turning out to be two-for-me-one-for-him.  :)
