ON THIS DAY in 1991, the musical Nick & Nora opened.

and then promptly closed.

It was not, what they call, a hit.

As for the Top Ten lists...

What if I only remember their first names?

Nay sayers be damned:

I thought the CBS Special "Movies RocK" was one the best produced shows of its king in many a year''For me the highlight was watching "The Faculty" alumni, Usher, perform Singin' in the Rain.

This man deserves to be back on Broadway (and I hear he will be soon in "Golden Boy").

And on that very same day, Cindy Williams handed me her signed contract for The Creature Wasn't Nice.

Was that because John Lennon had died?

Since several here have watched the DVD of NAKED BOYS SINGING, I thought this news story seemed a good choice (and the men are better looking).

Randy just called me with fantastic news.  We sold Dad's RV and the certified checks for it and a trailer are now in his hands.  When the checks clear in the estate account, I can pay my brothers the last bit of benefits on the death and consider thwe estate work essentially closed.

Pleased to hear about this milestone, Larry. In my experience, once the estate is settled it gets easier.

No! not sharing my birthdate!  Patty is younger by a year.

Well, I started doing some cleaning, and some organizing, and some mail sorting and purging, and bed-making, etc., etc., etc.  And now I think I shall get ready to head out for the day.  To where I do not know yet.  But I'm sure I'll end up somewhere.

I need to do some mail sorting and purging myself. Not to be confused with male sorting and purging, although...
