I haven't heard a cat purr in a long, long time.  Bear would eat a cat.  I'm not even sure that's a joke.  He gets so jealous.

He plops that stone head of his across my legs at night and Sheena lays her head on my stomach.

He's not purring, which is good because he drools when he purrs and I don't want that in my face.

 ;D  I've never had a cat that drooled.  Sherlock on the other hand leaves a pool of drool on the floor when he is waiting for his dinner.
