Should we suspend posting in sympathy with the writers' strike?

Jane & Keith - thank you for the newsworthy greetings!  Sherlock is getting more handsome by the day!
Later this week, you should have something from me.   ;)

Yes, my original thing with the 758 posts was that it would put us in the top ten.  Look how far we are now, baby.  I feel that soon we will be the most popular site on all the Internet.

The book signing was fun - I think we had about twenty people there (very good for a book signing these days), and I read the first two chapters.  Then we sort of just chatted for a while, then everyone had CAKE, then people had their books signed.  We sold more book than we've ever sold, including a bunch of Kritzer books.

And dinner is in two hours and I'm so hungry I could eat a chocolate pie candy which I just did.  I'm still hungry, however.

Seen at the signing: Miss Adriana Patti and mother, authors PennyO, Bob Birchard, and Tony Slide, film restoration guru Bob Gitt, my friend Lee and her two girls, James McCloskey (former head of the theater department at LACC), cousins Alan and Dee, friend Nancy, 3D expert John Christopher, LACCTAA board member Joanna Erdos, an actress named Rose Portillo (I think that's her last name), Cason Murphy, and several others whose names I'll remember at some point.
