But what's the alternative?  A root canal.   ;)

I thought that was on Monday.

Ron, you didn't have your root canal today, did you?

Well, DR JoseSPiano, I'd say that's pretty exotic!  :)

No false advertising there.

Well, one assortment I've been wanting to try is their...

Collezione Italiano

Taste Italy's finest artisanal ingredients through the medium of chocolate—Taleggio cheese, Tuscan fennel pollen, and several more flavors.

Sweet and savory, reinterpreted. Lift the purple lid and experience Italy in an interpretation of savory + sweet. Your tasting begins with the Rooster truffle, a mélange of Taleggio cheese, organic walnuts and Tahitian vanilla beans draped in bittersweet dark chocolate. A bit salty, slightly tannic and rich in mouth-feel with an undercurrent of sweetness.
Collection includes guided tasting notes and suggested pairings.
Rooster (8): Taleggio cheese + organic walnuts + Tahitian vanilla bean + bittersweet dark chocolate
Sale del Mare (2): Sicilian sea salt caramel + milk chocolate + pine nut
Polline di Finocchio (2): Wild Tuscan fennel pollen + dark chocolate
Olio d'Oliva (2): First press extra virgin olive oil + white chocolate + dried kalamata olives
Balsamico (2): 12-year aged balsamic vinegar + dark chocolate + Sicilian hazelnuts

No, DR RLP's root canal is Monday.

I was just using time compression(tm) for my own nefarious purposes.

I would not have thought of those particular combinations in many years.

I don't think it would be a good idea for me to try to concoct recipes based on what I ate when I was six. I seem to remember some mud pies.

But mud pies rendered in chocolate have been quite successful!

I never got making mud pies...I did it once, but thought it was a waste of time because you couldn't eat them

I shall, DR Jeanne!  Though I will probably not have an opportunity to post as frequently as when I'm at work lounging around doing nothing all day.
