I watched five episodes tonight. The season premiere featured audio commentary with Damon Lindeloff and Elizabeth Mitchell who spent the entire show joking and being silly, not offering much of interest in terms of the making of the episode.

So far, the backstories have been for Jack, Sun & Jin, Sawyer, Locke, and Eko. I remembered that a lot of fans were very dissatisfied with the first third of the season because so much time was given over to the three captives staying with "The Others." But on rewatching this, there has been plenty of stuff apart from "The Others."  And, we needed to know as much about their set-up as we could so that the latter episodes in the season would have greater resonance.

The next episode entitled "I Do," which I'll start with tomorrow features Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, and another of the producers.

If I can get through about six more episodes tomorrow (there are 23 episodes for season 3), I may take a little break and watch something else.
