DR DakotaCelt, hope today went OK for you and your family.

It did...

The service was good with a lot of fun stories told and the church was filled to overflowing. it was bittersweet. nice to see people but why is it funerals that always bring out distant cousins you have not seen for ages?

It has been a challenging week. Picking a casket, help plan the funeral, write the obitc, etc. My father was buried in his Legion uniform he loved being a member.

I do worry about my mother though, I have to head back to Fargo tomorrow and she will be alone.

We really racked up that tally.

Number one is 2062, so that may be out of reach, but number 2 is just around the corner

In some ways I still feel lost. He was a good person and he will be sorely missed by many, many people.

He taught gun safety and many of his past students even attended. It was amazing the number that came. The ones that had him, adored him.

One of my dad's freinds first wife passed away quite suddenly a few years ago. He said in his eulogy that he encourged his wife to lead my dad to Heaven but stand in front of him.... Needless to say taht caused a roar of laughter.

Tomovoz, I'm sorry about Fosca.  Have you been able to control it with medications?
